I love when feminists contradict themselves.

According to the guardian, the conviction rate is 58%

I'm pretty sure this figure is based on the attrition rate, the amount of convictions resulting from reports of a crime, and is generally not calculated for any crime apart from rape. A conviction rate is the rate of convictions following a trial.

Considering that female defendants receive sentences that are about sixty percent shorter than male defendants, yes, we can say that the justice system does favor one sex over the other.

So wait...the percentage of rape accusations we know to be false is supposedly 2%...but she just admitted the percentage of rape accusations we prove to be true beyond reasonable doubt is only 3%...using their math this would make rape, proportionately, by far the most false-accusation-prone crimes known to man.

Rape is hard to prove. Sorry, but that’s just a fact. You can’t put someone in jail unless you are very sure they did a crime.

Due process doesn’t mean you got the end result you wanted. It means things were done properly and both the victim and the accused’s rights were respected.

How can due process serve men more than women when men not women make up the vast majority of those convicted? If due process served men then there'd be a lot less men in jail

Hmmm do you believe that only 3% of these rapes were legitimate? Or do you think the justice system is in fact failing victims of rape, causing the pushback we are seeing today. I don’t want anyone to have there lives ruined by a wrongful conviction. But I’m pretty sure no one here wants someone who has had there lived ruined to be over looked by the justice system.

Whenever they say this, my response is that there reason why there's only a 3% rape conviction rate is because 97% of women are liars.

They said the same thing with the recent police withholding evidence thing. "Only X number of rape trials end in conviction, so that means X number of rapists have got away with it."

The implication is that if there is a rape accusation made, then a rape definitely happened. And if a man is not found guilty of rape, then he is simply a rapist that got away with it.

No consideration that a man might be falsely accused of rape, or that a woman might lie. Just straight up 'accused of rape = guilty of rape'.

I assume they would find a 100% guilty rate to be perfect and desirable.

Due process is certainly letting someone down here, innocent men.

Well if she went to work for a week in law enforcement instead of being a useless 'social commentator, writer and lecturer,' she would see what everyone in law enforcement sees, that close 97% of accusations of rape are false and learn something about the world she lives in. Well to start. There are rape kits that have sat so long in storage that they evidence is no linger useful. This should be pretty damn near the top.

In Canada, an estimated 0.3% of all sexual assaults end in conviction. We don't have rape as a crime, for its covered by sexual assault.
