Most parents want to raise their kids so that they are successful in life. Why raise a kid so that he's scared of himself? How can he ever succeed if everything he does, he has to second-guess himself? He'll never have confidence, and the sooner he leaves this crap-spewing "mom", the sooner he can start healing and learning to be a strong man.

I wonder how many of these feminist women are actually attracted to a man that is always 'aware' of his privilege. If confidence is a huge part of attraction, do they swoon when a guy apologizes for merely being a guy? Seems like this mom is raising a future nice guy, and the odds that she pushes him into being a transwoman seems way higher than normal.

If you raise one kid with the aim of making them strong and the other with the aim of making them aware that they have some sort of privilege which, presumably, they should view as being negative, you're going to end up with one messed up little boy.

Honestly, I don't expect anything more or less from the Huffington Post. They seem to attract all sorts of people delusional enough to deduce boys as "less". The worst part is they make it all about themselves and how "HARD" it is for them as parents, you know, to actually parent, and instill a solid moral grounding no matter their gender.

A boy born today is already behind. Boys under perform in education at every age group. They are less likely to attend university, which leads to higher rates of homelessness and unemployment. Discrimination of men has been legalized in employment, and the education system has an anti male bias from the beginning.

What would the author say when her son is rejected from a scholarship he earns, or unable to find work, or finds himself in an abusive relationship?

Well they can all be happy when China becomes the dominant power, its coming the west is falling apart and China is getting richer and richer year on year. The Chinese don't dick around like the west has since the 60's, they show little tolerance for people being "alternative lifestyle" and will throw people on to hard prison/labour at the blink of an eye. Hell they will shoot someone for fraud and no difference in gender sentences too. Still they are not "Evil White Men" so I expect SJW types will welcome our new strict overlords with jubilant celebrations.

I remember in my elementary school, we always had more girls than boys in the class. Except for one year, where we had something like 11 boys and 10 girls. Normally, when there were more girls, nobody said anything. But that one year, the teacher (who was female) told us every single day to be extra nice to the girls because there were less of them.

This was seen as completely normal and agreeable by the parents. After all, the mean boys outnumbered the girls and could harm them. We were 5 years old.

There are a fuckton of examples from my childhood like this but this one comes to mind right now.

I'm curious - are you arguing that a) male privilege doesn't exist, b) it does exist but doesn't matter / is a good thing, or c) it does exist and is a problem, but parents shouldn't teach their children about it?
