If I'm being 100% honest: if I was 15 and I'd been propositioned by her, I'd have gone for it.

Here in England the age of criminal responsibility is 10. I don't know how on one hand you can say that someone is mature enough to be prosecuted for something they've done wrong but on the other hand say that a 15 year old guy is too young to consent to having sex with a woman. I know that at that age I wasn't legally old enough but I feel like I was mature enough to say that yes, I'm willing to have sex with someone who consents to it.

Does anyone know why the law has such a dichotomy between when they consider you an adult to be prosecuted and when they say you're a defenceless child and are in need of protection? It seems bizarre sometimes.
