The 35-year-old blogger and anti-male activist was slammed by parents after she blocked questions from year 10 schoolboys at the private secondary school.

I like the way the article describes her.

“The boys wanted to ask her questions, and she refused to answer questions from boys. She goes, ‘No no, I’m only taking questions from girls,’” parent Darren told Melbourne Radio 3AW.

“The ones that turned on her after she treated the boys like crap, was the girls who got up and left.”

Good on those girls for standing up to support the boys!

[–]rollypolymasta 202 points203 points204 points 8 years ago* (14 children) | Copy Link

I think it's because the girls are less afraid of being called out for questioning what these people say. I had a women come in when I was in sixth form to talk about relationships. The whole talk was if your boyfriend does this, this and this he's being abusive. I think most people didn't take it seriously, but it was compulsory so we all just sat there and listened. At some point a girl in my year put her hand up and asked "Why do you keep characterising boys as being abusers. Surely if a girl did any of these things to her boyfriend it would also be abusive."

The women tried to stammer out some nonsense about how 90% of the time the boy is the abuser, but it would be abusive if a girl did this. I'm sure if I said something similar she would have called me an abuse enabler of some shit. So I just stayed silent like every other guy there, when it was over all the guys I talked to said they found it offensive or a waste of time. But no-one said anything for fear of being shamed.

[–]Lethn 92 points93 points94 points 8 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

It's really good we're at least seeing the younger generation of girls speak up about this, really good, now if only we could get my generation of girls to stop this shite.

[–]rollypolymasta 51 points52 points53 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I wouldn't go that far mate, in that talk most of girls seemed to be in agreement with the women. And the girl in question wasn't your average girl, she had a lot more male friends than female. I think it's great that she stood up and I'm sure other girls agreed with her, but I think they were in the minority. My generation still seems kinda fucked

This was like 5-10 years ago though so maybe the climate has changed since then. This was also in the UK where a lot of women don't identify as feminists, so I'm not sure how this compares to Australia. Tbh a lot of my female friends actually seem more feminist now, than back then when they were more apathetic, but I assume that's the influence of university.

[–]snake_and_scorpion 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I have an older female college who questioned why there's no Men's Day when there's a Women's Day. So I think there are some women do notice the bias in the culture. I didn't know about Men's Day back then otherwise I would've told her and we could've began a conversation.

[–]Pz5 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Maybe people will begin to realize that Ford represents sexism. She is an ardent female chauvinist.

[–]frjoethesecond 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago* (5 children) | Copy Link

Are you a millennial? If so, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Edit: Speaking as a millennial, so don't get triggered.

[–]Axis73 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If he/she's a millennial there are no "girls" or "boys" anymore. Just dozens of gender pronouns and political "correctness" and everyone is different but yet fits into nice little groups.

Can't wait.

[+]Archibald_Andino1 points 8 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

I disagree. Gives these girls some credit. They see there is no connection between the narrative you're an oppressed victim who needs encourage, quotas, affirmative action and lower standards because of people like your brother who are unfairly privileged and bigoted and sexists. They know their reality is the exact opposite. Most girls are thinking, "we didn't ask for all this preferential treatment and double standards, enough with the patronizing".

[–]frjoethesecond 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Always have a new advertisement on YouTube. Look at the like/dislike ratio and read the comments. Most girls are NOT thinking about the preferential treatment based on that data.

[–]snake_and_scorpion 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When I was in high school we watched a video about intimate partner abuse and it did have a segment on a girlfriend abusing a boyfriend. That was quite a few years ago.

The down side is that that video portrayed girls as only emotional abusers, as oppose to physical and/or sexual abusers. But it's something.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It shows how successful feminists have been in disempowering and silencing men. Men and boys are too scared to speak up - only girls can do it on their behalf. Frightening.

[–]mwobuddy 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm sure if I said something similar she would have called me an abuse enabler of some shit. So I just stayed silent like every other guy there, when it was over all the guys I talked to said they found it offensive or a waste of time. But no-one said anything for fear of being shamed.

Dont count your chickens befoer they're hatched. If you had the balls to ask, and if she did label you an abuser enabler for suggesting that women can be abusive, she'd lose face.

[–]rollypolymasta 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I wish I had tbh, back then I was too much of a socially awkward teenager to speak up. She responded to the girl in question with quite a dismissive and aggressive tone, and she was fairly rude to all the boys that asked simple clarifying questions, which lead me to believe she would have said something worse to boys if they challenged her.

Alas it was nearly 10 years back now, so I'll never know.

[–]blette 13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Even though the boys did not beat her, the boys need to be arrested for having violent thoughts.

anti-male activist

Accurately describes modern feminists to a T. Even if they're too dull to figure out what their movement has become and to a certain extent always was.

In fact I'm going to start using the term regularly.

[–][deleted] 30 points31 points32 points 8 years ago (55 children) | Copy Link

ironically, those girls are actual feminists.

[–][deleted] 23 points24 points25 points 8 years ago (51 children) | Copy Link

That's not what Feminism is about.

[–][deleted] 16 points17 points18 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What is should be about.

Girls Standing up for the Equal treatment of Boys.

Just other side of the coin of Good parts of Feminism.

[+][deleted] -7 points-6 points-5 points 8 years ago (49 children) | Copy Link

I would attribute that it is part of what feminism is about. Unless you are implying that women can't stand up for disenfranchised people outside their gender.

[–][deleted] 22 points23 points24 points 8 years ago (47 children) | Copy Link

Feminism isn't about equality, and never has been. If a self described Feminist does anything good for the opposite gender, they're not a Feminist and do not know what Feminism is.

[–]g0ldent0y 13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

As with everything even feminism comes in shades of black and white. Don't get me wrong. I have my qualms with feminism like many of you guys on here do. But painting it all with one broad stroke doesn't accomplish much.

Feminism has brands that do care about equality, that do no buy into many of the academics behind it or promote female superiority (or the opposite if it seems fit). I agree the whole basis of feminism is something like: we need to empower woman because they are oppressed (by the patriarchy). And let's be honest, women do have to deal with a shit ton of bad stuff. But so do men. The mistake many feminist make is believing in oppression Olympics (sadly something I see on here way to often too from MRAs). And from their perspective women are the more oppressed and that's why they fight for their empowerment. But that is wrong. Both genders are victims of a system that oppresses both equally. Feminism calls this system patriarchy, MRAs might call it gynocentrism. The truth is neither is true. As so often it lays somewhere in the middle. We have both partiachal and gynocentric rules in place that do opress everyone.

There are feminists that do realise this. And they are still focused on making life better for women. As hopefully many guys on here realise this too, but focus their efforts on improving mens life.

And pls don't tell me that is wrong somehow. Feminism isn't the enemy. The fucking system is.

[–]DarthCerebroX 23 points24 points25 points 8 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Feminism isn't the enemy.

Actually, feminism and feminists have a long history of fucking over men and silencing men's issues... so yes, they kind of are the enemy..

Do you have any idea how the Men's Rights Activists that are trying to bring awareness and fix mens issues are treated by feminists?

Every time MRA's try to hold an event or conference they are protested, and threatened, censored and many times shut down. They are met with chants of "racist, sexist, anti gay- go away MRA". Even academics such as English professor at University of Ottawa, Janice Fiamengo, was trying to give a lecture about men's issues and feminists pull the fire alarm and shut the whole thing down.

They can't even bring awareness to Men's issues, much less start to address them. How can MRA's fight to fix these problems when they're not even allowed to make people aware of them!?

Another example is one I already mentioned, the way feminists have fought to keep a monopoly on the domestic violence issue. You should research Erin Pizzey . She's a women that created the very first women's shelter. After she had spent so much time with DV victims (men and women because she didn't discriminate) she learned that men were victims just as often as women, and that the abuse often went both ways. When she tried to release her findings feminists fought to censor her. They threatened her, harassed her and ran her out of the country. She went on to co-found [A Voice for Men](www.avoiceformen.com) and became a strong supporter of Men's Rights issues.

This kind of behavior and pushback is the reason that there are thousands of DV shelters for women today, but only one men's shelter. And out of all the female domestic violence shelters, less than 5% are willing to take in men.

Also the Duluth Model that was created by feminists which states that DV is caused by the patriarchy giving all men power over all women. They claim that because women are the oppressed gender, it's impossible for them to be the aggressor. These ideas were made into laws that have discriminated against male victims for decades and these practices are still in use in many states today.

If you take the time to actually research the feminist movement, you might learn that feminism has harmed men and fought against men's issues a lot more that you ever imagined.

There's a reason we are anti-feminist..

EDIT: regarding feminism and domestic violence....

Even today, with all the statistics showing that men make up half of all domestic abuse victims... and that women are actually the aggressor 70% of the time when it comes to unreciprocated violence....

.. Mainstream modern feminists continue to push these false narratives that domestic violence is a women's issue and that it's Men who are the abusers.

Katherine Spillar , director of Majority Feminist Organization and executive editor for Ms Magazine, said in her interview for the red pill movie that...

"The whole issue of domestic violence-- that's just another word really. It's a clean up word for wife beating.. because that's what it really is.

Its not girls that are beating up on boys, it's boys that are beating up on girls."

Yeah... this is coming from someone with a lot of power and influence in the feminist movement and you could argue that she is a big spokesperson for the movement...

.. And yet she has no problem denying the existence of male DV victims and painting men, and only men, as the abusers.

EDIT 2: To summarize...

Maybe there are systems in place that oppress both men and women.... but it's not just the system that's the problem. Feminists themselves have influenced the system and created policies like the Duluth Model and many more that are responsible for oppressing and discriminating against men for decades now. Mainstream feminism has a lot of influence over politics, business practices, academia and even mainstream media. They continuously push false narratives and anti male propaganda that negatively influence society's collective view of men. They continuously try to silence awareness about men's issues and discredit anyone that tries to bring these issues to the general public's attention.

Feminists are directly responsible for many of the problems men face today..

So kindly fuck off with your "feminists aren't the enemy guys" bullshit. If you're not going to actually take the time to research the real history of the feminist movement.... then you don't have a fucking clue about what feminism really does and the kind of effects it has on men.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Adding on to the actions pointed out in your comment, there was also the total erasure of male victims of female rapists from statistics. Guess who was responsible? A FEMINIST researcher.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

As with everything even feminism comes in shades of black and white.

Ideological perception of a movement isn't subjective.

Feminism has brands that do care about equality,

Time for them to get of their legbeard ass and do something, then.

I agree the whole basis of feminism is something like: we need to empower woman because they are oppressed (by the patriarchy).

Yes, the entire basis of Feminism is tearing down anything male you just disproved yourself.

And let's be honest, women do have to deal with a shit ton of bad stuff.

Not in the first world, they do not.

Both genders are victims of a system that oppresses both equally

Stopping right here. Come back when you stop buying into bullshit about women being opressed in any way in the first world.

[+]In_My_Own_World -7 points-6 points-5 points 8 years ago (42 children) | Copy Link

Feminism originally was being treated as equal to men, so yes it was about equality.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Nothing says equality like demanding the vote without having to sign up to die for their country

[–]In_My_Own_World 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes cause that is so noble with all the illigal wars going on. BTW woman were involved in ww1 and ww2. They just weren't at the front line, reason being as they are more valuable to re populate. If you actually knew anything about history you would know that.

[–]notacrackheadofficer 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ok you're equal. Get in that ditch and start digging. Jump on that garbage truck and get some cans emptied.

[–]Adanu0 15 points16 points17 points 8 years ago (38 children) | Copy Link

If you actually pay attention and do some research, the original feminazi movement was, in fact, not about equality.

[+]In_My_Own_World -8 points-7 points-6 points 8 years ago (37 children) | Copy Link

They wanted to be treated equally, wanted to be able to vote. I think you should do some research yourself.

[–]Blutarg 12 points13 points14 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Well, sure, they wanted to vote, but didn't want to be drafted, which is what men had to do to earn the vote. That's not equality.

[–]In_My_Own_World -5 points-4 points-3 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Yes I know, I was replying to the statement.

1st wave feminists:

1) Won the right for married women to own their own property and income, and hold it separate from their husband's control. Maintained the legal entitlement of married women to be supported financially by their husband. (Otherwise known as, "what's mine is mine and what's yours is ours.) Her entitlement to his support even extended to the tax burden on her property and income--property and income he was legally prohibited from touching.

So basically, instead of demanding equal rights as administrators of the marital income and property, they demanded the rights of unmarried persons without the responsibilities, and the rights of married women without accompanying responsibilities. Men were still held to their responsibility as sole provider for the family, including the wife, but now had to do it without access to their wives' incomes and property.

There were men sent to prison in the UK for tax evasion for being unable to pay the taxes owing on the property/income of their wealthier wives. One suffragette, Dr. Elizabeth Wilks even refused (as was her right under the law) to provide her husband with the necessary documentation so he could calculate the taxes, and given that he was a schoolteacher and responsible for paying for everything else, he couldn't have afforded to pay it regardless. While he was in prison, she urged other suffragettes to do what she had. He was released from prison on humanitarian grounds due to his failing health, and died a few months later.

2) Won default mother custody of young children upon divorce or separation. Previously, the assumption was of paternal custody since the father was solely burdened with financial responsibility for their care.

Of course, it was only custody that was changed--financial responsibility still fell 100% to the father to maintain the household of his minor children. Since his ex was head of that household, he was now forced to continue supporting her even if she was at fault for the breakdown of the marriage.

So again, we went from the man having superior rights and greater responsibility, to the man having inferior rights and still having greater responsibility.

Hilariously, in 1910, after these two legal innovations had been in effect in NY State for close to 40 years, a suffragette lawyer (yes, before women were allowed to get an education and all...) wrote in the Times that the law still discriminated against women on the matter of children. How did the law do so? The only area of the law at that time that did not consider mothers at least equal custodians and guardians were the provisions granting the father control over the minor children's income and property. Basically, the law saw him as 100% responsible for feeding, clothing and sheltering the children, therefore it gave him 100% of the right to manage their money for that end.

A woman could, at that time, go to court and demonstrate that her husband had legally abandoned his financial responsibility to her and the kids, and there were provisions for transferring said rights to manage the children's income/property to her in such cases (and in the worst cases the man could end up in prison for refusing to support his family to the best of his ability). But this suffragette wanted the laws themselves changed such that wives (who bore no legal financial responsibility toward their children, or even themselves) have equal control over the children's income and property.

These changes were all in place decades before women got the vote. And speaking of the vote...

3) In 1917 a group of anarchists in the US filed a federal case against military conscription, describing it as involuntary servitude and therefore unconstitutional. SCOTUS was unequivocal in its rejection of their argument, asserting that the draft was a reciprocal obligation owed by all citizens to the state in return for the rights conferred by the state upon citizens.

Among other legal obligations men owed to the state: hue and cry laws, bucket brigades, the special constabulary (being drafted into the police force in emergency situations), etc.

Some suffragettes (like Sylvia Pankhurst, who abandoned the suffragette movement over it) were opposed to the draft, but other more active (and now more famous) ones campaigned in favor of the draft and participated in campaigns designed to use public shaming to pressure men to enlist. One of their posters even decried the fact that a woman was denied the franchise no matter how great she was (she could be a doctor or a lawyer or a mother, or a mayor), while even men unfit for military service did not lose their right to vote.

Two years after SCOTUS formalized the draft as being part of the price all citizens must pay for their rights as citizens, women got the vote. And no obligation to the state was ever placed on them in return for this right.

And before anyone here says, "but women weren't ALLOWED to be soldiers!", there are other ways to serve your country during wartime, and mandatory "war work" (like sewing uniforms or assembling munitions) could have been made a thing in a female draft. Anyone arguing that if women were included in the draft today "we'd be sending tiny, vulnerable women into foxholes" is ignoring the fact that there is TONS of necessary work in and alongside the military that doesn't involve active combat or serious physical risk, so that argument basically boils down to "how dare we inconvenience women!"

So. Three examples of first wave feminists demanding and getting men's rights without men's responsibilities. Two of them actively involve zero sum situations such as income and property rights, or custody rights to children, and in both cases feminists managed to arrange things such that women got all the rights while men were still burdened with all the responsibility.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

First wave, second wave and third wave feminists are united by their presumption that men, particularly white heterosexual men are an enemy.

[–]rollypolymasta 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Just wanted to say I really appreciate what you do Karen (unless that's someone else going by your moniker), you really turned me onto men's rights and helped to inform me on how 1st wave feminism/sufragettes was never about equality from the get go. Keep up the good work!

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Thanks Karen. Too many people think 1st wave feminists were just fighting for the equal right to vote, but not even that was the case

[+]In_My_Own_World -10 points-9 points-8 points 8 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

Wrong, the law was changed in regards to property after they won their right to be equal. Before that it was whoever was best suited, then it went to the mother.

You really need to do some actual research, some of what you say is true, the rest isn't.

You stated the original intent, not afterwards, so stick to the actual subject which you first brought forward.

Since you seem to think (like most people ignorant of the facts) that feminism is this good, pure-hearted movement that has only fought for equality and always had the best intentions .... I'm just going to paste my reply to another user here for you...

Feminism isn't the enemy. They just want equality

So kindly fuck off with your "feminists were always only about equality" bullshit. If you're not going to actually take the time to research the real history of the feminist movement.... then you don't have a fucking clue about what feminism really does and the kind of effects it has on men.

Ffs you fucking moron. What it was then is different to what it is now. Learn some fucking history before spouting your bullshit. I know about the history, and the movement. You clearly know fuck all. So how about you fuck off and read a fucking book you complete moron.

Also learn to read the post the dumbass.

[–]Mythandros 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nobody is saying than women can't stand up for the disenfranchised, we are saying that feminism is hateful and has nothing to do with equality. It teaches hate and normalizes hateful acts and attitudes towards men. That is the whole purpose behind feminism.

Remember that woman =/= feminist.

Not a new story, it happened a while ago. But media seems to be picking it up again now. It made the main article of the front page for a while:

https://archive.is/GMbMT

[–]drinkingisruiningme 12 points13 points14 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Headline: Clemantine Ford Has Sparked A Walkout

The language used makes her seems radical and opposed to hateful.

[–]ThatDamnedImp 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

radical and opposed to hateful.

I have never noticed a practical difference between those two words. In the dictionary, sure, in people, though? Never once.

Seriously, I don't think I've taken that many unflattering pictures in my entire life let alone let them out into the world!

She had to look at all of these pics and say "yes, I want to post on line where other human beings and journalists can see them"

Especially the one in the thumb nail, was she having an allergic reaction to something?

What I Find Most Fascinating - it wasn't the school boys who objected to Little Clemmy Frauds refusal to answer questions from males, it was the School Girls who objected, stood up and left. Good on them! That nugget has been played down as it goes s far against Clemmy's and the Media's Narratives and need to paint Clemmy as a positive "affluence".sic

Just more proof of how Radical Feminuttery by the likes of Clemmy Fraud is rejected by the masses. Her days are numbered and her star is falling into the great sea of oblivion. Good Bye, Good Luck, Good Riddance

Liberal Public School Systems

[–]Rizzopizzo 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

And yet it was a conservative school administrator in the US that made every boy stand up during a ceremony and pledge they would never hit a woman. No demand was made of the girls that they would never hit a man.

If you think this is merely a "liberal" problem you're out to lunch.

These people feel so privileged that they think that they an go anywhere and say/write anything. Everybody that opposes their hate can be ignored as misogynists whom her circles hate anyway. It would be so nice if the reality would start hitting back even more and show that what what is OK within her feminist bubble isn't allowed among civilized and emphatic men and women, girls and boys.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Whoa, did she just assume their gender?!

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Want me to kill a spider/fix a toilet/change a light bulb? Sorry, I'm identifying as female today, and ask that you respect my life choices.

[–]rg57 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Truly, this is a beautiful story.

Someone should make a short film about it, or based on it.

[–]Rizzopizzo 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

If feminism continues to "succeed", society will collapse and there will be no films, short or otherwise. If the MRM succeeds, it will one day be recognized as the heroic civil rights movement it is. The problem with the MRM is that -- unlike feminism -- it demands that people truly challenge gender roles. We are asking that women take responsibility for their actions and that men receive a certain degree of empathy. That's no small request. We are literally fighting against biology, while feminists are exploiting our instinct to serve and protect women.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Clementine Ford is akin to a boxer who will only climb into the ring if her opponent has first had both their arms amputated, and has then been tied to a chair.

After all, she’s not there to compete (in the marketplace of ideas). Such things are simply beneath her. Does a goddess involve herself in mortal matters ?.

Yuck.

Good for the girls, doing the right thing.

It's obvious that she legitimately had severe anti-social personality disorder (psychopath) and is blatantly bigoted and sexist. She is a respected and well regarded figure in the SJW community, which says a lot.

She's so weak, she can't even handle questions from children. Good on the girls for supporting their classmates, people are finally beginning to realize how toxic and bigoted the radical SJW wave has become.

You really can't make this shit up.

Ford said she had received offensive messages from Aquinas students on her Twitter and Facebook accounts and complained she had been called a “cunt”.

However in a July 2013 tweet, Ford used the word freely, posting on Twitter: “Too many c***s on twitter today. Cunty cunt cunt cunting. #cunt.”

I'm assuming that's what she said, Reddit kept italicizing the quote when I left the *s in.

[–]Rizzopizzo 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]Funcuz 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm confused. The headline says one thing and the video is about something nearly completely different. The video is about...? It's just a piece that can't defend her directly so it becomes all about "the struggles that the poor girls face in the real world".

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]number4ty7 12 points13 points14 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes, but looks are not anything to do with this and it just belittles the message and gives people a reason to ignore the valid criticism.

Would what she did be acceptable if she was attractive?

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Her looks are not the issue here. It's the shit she speaks about.

[+]Brodz641 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

That might be true, but we have much more push if we’re seen as respectful and mature rather than resorting to attacking their image or bullying someone.

[–]Lethn -4 points-3 points-2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

They will never see anyone here as respectful no matter what so I'd stop worrying about trying to improve appearances. There is no point pandering to people who will always hate you anyway and that's the only ones who care about that sort of thing.

Besides, in all seriousness, I've found the people who care the most about 'civility' so much and being 'polite' are some of the worst sorts of scumbags out there.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

We're not pandering to the feminists. We're trying not to discourage everybody else.

There is an enormous amount of people who don't identify with either group. The more we have on our side, the better. Shit like appearances does matter when the very thing your fighting for is social change. That's impossible without other people.

Don't isolate us.

[–]Lethn 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

People aren't discouraged by this sort of thing, don't you get it? The majority out there are rational, decent people once they get introduced to what MRAs actually say and so on and what the discussions are really like when put into context.

Cassie Jaye is a classic example of this and even points it out on film, everything feminists say and do against anybody who criticises them, not just MRAs is completely taken out of context or just total lies.

Even if you guys don't manage to get everyone on your side the fact that you're convincing so many people that actually you're not a bunch of 'Angry straight white men' ranting about women on the internet is victory enough. It's the feminists that are the problem, no one else and this should be obvious from the reactions by the students at Aquinas College where even the girls were fed up of them.

It's like with Milo's paedophile thing which even he admits was just a dumb fuck up on his part, the only people who actually believe he supports paedophilia are people who were out to get dirt on him anyway or other people who are just frankly stupid and refuse to look at what he's saying properly. At the very Conservative event he was banned from everyone knew the media was full of shit, political correctness is dying and people need to stop self-censoring.
