Same situation for me. The dating pool for a male with no kids, doesn't want kids and/or to be a step father and has a vasectomy is definitely limited. It's even the case if you've got everything going for you aka you're marriage material. One thing I will tell you is a benefit with our traits is the high interest in women wanting you for sex. I found the hookup scene on the apps easier to meet a lot of women for a fwb situation than those looking for a monogamous relationship. That got old after 6 months. Now I'm just minding my own business, staying single and no longer dating.

I'm sorry that you are in a bad place dating wise, it's got to be hard being child free like that. Most women are going to have kids, or want them.

About your vasectomy though... it may be reversible. I had a micro vas reversal done 16 years ago and had kids before getting another vasectomy.

FYI: Just in case you ever change your mind, you want to make having a child an option, or want to have an easier time dating.

Dude relax….there are plenty of women out there that want to live the childfree lifestyle. Just be patient and you’ll fine one. The other thing you’ve got going for you is time. As women get older and are single they start to accept that they won’t have kids so the longer you wait the more likely it is you’ll find someone who is looking for the same thing.

I’m 38 w two kids and trying to decide if a vasectomy is right for me. My stbxw couldn’t have any more kids, so I never thought about it, but I’m thinking two are good for me. How much do you think having a vasectomy affect your chances / dating options?

Idk bro, I’m 36, I have 4 young kids. It’s a tough position for me because like you’re saying most women either have kids already or want kids. I don’t want anymore, but I have no problem dating a woman with kids, so that opens the doors a bit for me.

I (soon-to-be divorced 36F) don’t have kids and don’t want to have them in the future either. I want to date a guy who is like-minded, but no where to find one in my experience. 🤷‍♀️

You should look for women who already have children and don’t want any more, since you don’t want more either and you’ve had a vasectomy.
