My now ex wife was a narcissist and probably bipolar (and bisexual). She wore a mask for 10 years before it finally fell off and she showed me who she really was. She went on a long weekend trip to visit a girlfriend. She had sex with her. She also danced with a guy and she said he turned her on. They became friends on FB.

When she got back from her trip she told me “I want an open marriage. Wedding vows mean nothing. It’s my body and I will sleep with whoever I want whenever I want.” She also said she wanted to do threesomes etc. I didn’t agree to any of it so she then cheated.

I also found out she had cheated on me with at least 4 guys while we were dating/engaged.

She put me thru narcissistic abuse; cheated, lied, gaslighted and manipulated me. She also was sexting and sending nudes yo a guy in prison. He is in prison for sex trafficking. They plotted together to try and entrap me. They had created a fake FB of an attractive woman and sent me a friend invite. I declined since I didn’t know who she was.

I also found proof that she tried to manipulate me into committing suicide so she could get my life insurance money.

She does what all narcissists do in divorce; she went for 100% custody, did parental alienation and chose the high conflict divorce option. Took 3 years and 75k in attorney fees.

So glad that is over.

I did get 50/50 custody. No alimony. Nothing left to split with her.

In the meantime my relationship with my kids is stronger than ever. My son, 12, finally sees his mom got who she is. He said he is going to move in with me full time when he can. My daughter, 10, sees it but won’t acknowledge it yet. I didn’t contribute to their understanding, they figured it out on their own.

I work out a lot, take KravMaga, go to concerts, see old friends, fish, movies, an excellent cook and my self employed job has taken off. Life is amazing!!!

Keep fighting!! It gets better. You just have to keep going.
