We have a mediation meeting on tomorrow and I know everyone says you should just do this stuff by text or email but over Easter I was compelled to setup this lunch meeting to make sure she's onboard with what I proposed over email, mainly me keeping the house for 3 years so I could pay her out down the road. I'm currently living there and we split the kids 2-2-3.

On top of that, she's going to be owing me money for 3.1 years in CS and SS. Mediators have left it up to us to agree on the monthly number. The provided us a range using the court calculator.

I'm not entirely sure what the point of this post is other than to just get some feedback or opinions. She initiated the divorce and I know she never considered the financial aspect of it.

Edit: Lunch was fine. As many in the past have said, the woman I married isn't the one I'm divorcing. We talked about the mediation information, she was confused about how much she would be paying. She thought she would be paying half the mortgage on top of the CS and SS.

She asked if I wanted to go to her nephew's birthday party this weekend. So bizarre, but then again our reason for separating is an odd one (She says she's a lesbian now). She really does think we can be friends at a snap of a finger.
