But you're asking the wrong question. Ask yourself not is it normal, but *why* you can't get past her. That will help you to get over her. Because your life is not moving forward until you do. Worrying about it is holding you back. Talk to a therapist if you can.

You are your own worst enemy here, you're stopping yourself from moving on by holding onto what you had and what you thought you were going to have.

What you just do is take some time, don't date because you're not in the right mind and you know that.

If you have to get therapy but you cannot continue in this way, if you have to join a boxing gym and have some big fucker best it out of you twice a week but do something to let her go.

She might have been the most amazing to your being the most shitty,.it doesn't matter, the marriage is over and you're divorced.

The best you can do now is to let it go, take your lessons and learn from them and do better but before you can do that you have to let go of the past and the future you thought you had. That doesn't exist and you must start making your future look the way you'd like it to if you'd never met her.

I love her, but I also hate her for destroying our family and taking our daughters home away. I hate her for almost destroying me. I'd rather never set eyes on her again, but yeah i still love her.

I've been separated from my ex wife about 9 years. I'm still in love with her. She will always have a place in my heart. Doesn't mean where meant to be together as too much damage done over the years. I know see cheated twice ( although she doesn't know I've known for years.) So definitely feel you mate.

No, my ex makes me sick. She is a liar, and she used me while building a relationship with another dude. Then she got half my shit and she is fighting me for full custody of my daughter. I wouldn't walk across the street to piss on her if she was on fire.

I am definitely over her but not the trauma she inflicted.

I’ve read enough of this sub to know all of these are true.

It’s normal to still have feelings for your STBX.

It’s normal for it to take a different amount of time for you to get over your ex than others.

It’s normal for you to grieve the loss of what you thought you had.

And it’s normal for you to get through it as more time passes.
