Thanks to everyone in this sub—it’s really helped me cope with the start of my divorce. Here’s the situation: my wife says she can’t get in to see a lawyer for two months. We’re still living in the same house, and she clearly hates that I’m there. I’ve called around and found several attorneys who could see me within weeks, so I don’t get why she’s stalling. She’s made it clear she doesn’t want to reconcile. At first we planned to do this without lawyers, but after one conversation she changed her mind. Is it really possible her lawyer is booked that far out, or could this be some kind of strategy? Thanks again for all the support here.
