The red-pilled logic about "spreading your seed", only applies to us as cavemen, when our frontal lobes were not yet fully formed. It also crumbles the foundation of modernized, evolutionary society; who will look after all these children, which this "spread seed" creates? We already know that statistically, single-parent kids are more likely to get into trouble, live in poverty or commit crimes....

What kind of society are these people envisioning? Because it sounds like they just want to go back to the days when women were property, and stayed in the cave.

The use of pseudoanthropology and the caveman treatment has been thoroughly debunked. We can look to our closest neighbors, other primates, to see that sexual behavior runs a very wide spectrum across and even within species including life long pair bonding.

Monogamy is just as "natural" and valid as promiscuity. Monogamy encourages investment uses a "one in the hand worth more than 2 in the bush"

Its worth noting many female animals are more promiscuous that commonly thought (mating with many males in the same season) and that mate selection for many species is more complex than "fuck biggest meanest male". Extrapolating one species behavior on another is bad science: primates in particular have some extremely diverse mating and social behavior.

look into "r/K selection" which talks about quantity vs investment. Many arthopods, fish and plants use r-selection wherein they release a massive amount of progeny. K-selection usually relies on smaller litters and parental investment. And this is a spectrum not dichotomy: there are spiders that carry their hundreds of babies on their back and rats, being mammals nurse their massive broods. Even if males are more promiscuous humans with our abnormally long infanthood and dependence shows a reliance on parental or familial investment (human males also have other traits that point towards investment vs mass seeding testicle size actually one of them) . Agh this is a very basic ass summary not even getting into sociology or anthropology and not as well written as what i had before.

Reading through the foundational material of TRP, it seems to me they rather lament the abolishment of old-fashioned role models that enabled traditional monogamy. Their argument is that due to modern divorce law, marriage is a bad deal and to be avoided.

There is no general consensus that monogamy is a bad thing.

Facts. It's simply not true that "all" men just want to "spread their seed" with multiple women. I also prefer to be monogamous. I personally don't have the drive to just have sex with different women all the time. I usually stick with one until I realize she doesn't want a deeper connection. The simple sex gets old, even if it is good sex.

I think men (especially men with an over-inflated ego) don’t particularly favor monogamy because it means we can’t spread our seed around; evolutionarily speaking, we have the incentive to impregnate as many women as possible. Red Pillers acknowledge that and use it to justify their misogyny, and they think polyamory would work out well for them because they think they can all be “alphas” and get a lot of pussy, when really most of them wouldn’t be able to get girls to sleep with them if they don’t commit.

But the changes made to the relationships are leading to this.

Some people are fast life history strategists. Scattershot approach, sleep around, invest little in offspring, others are the opposite. Many have personality problems, narcissistic personality disorder, dark triad traits. Addiction problems. Some easily influenced by others. My guess is it's largely genetic and then some people who can be persuaded into things if hit at the right time.

The whole "spreading your seed" declaration comes from the ill-conceived belief that as a man, you should be entitled to sleep with any woman and/or as many women as you want and if you face any sort of rejection, it's a sign of "feminsim taking over".

Realistically, the most sexual partners people can obtain are a handful in their lifetime. We instill this in boys through media that having consistent sexual encounters is what "real men" do. This doesn't line up with reality, and it leads to them thinking something is "wrong with them" and making them easier targets for PUA grifters.

That's why I gradually lost favor with TRP. It plays upon young boys' insecurities and ignorance.

I mean, it’s not even true. Men are only marginally more polygamous than women, meaning men are wired for monogamy mostly, but will be able especially through societal context or rare instances engage in ”free reproduction”. But it’s not something men are driven to, it has been a futile attempt because women haven’t wanted it due to the riskiness of pregnancy, and overall monogamy has given the best reproduction as having a child surviving has been the key point to reproduce.

I think regardless of if you believe in monogamy or not, they overall use it to justify cheating. Their whole narrative is based on the premise that men with status or “ high value” should be allowed to have women on the side or as they call it “ Exercise options” 🙄

They use evidence of men in politics, entertainment high profile business me aka bill gates, as evidence. HOWEVER while these couples may have an arrangement they will never acknowledge the remote possibility that the wife will also have a side dude as well. Why? Because it would go against the narrative, they use the excuse the women don’t leave, well most women in the past couldn’t leave.

They have said that the wife sexual needs don’t matter, men get tired of the same woman so he should be “ allowed to explore” it’s “ biological “ they cannot accept that some women especially in that lifestyle can have sex without emotion. But they shame women for having one night stands 🤷‍♀️

Its all for the mens benefit, they think the wives just sit at home all day waiting. I would bet a lot of them don’t they are doing the same.
