First of all, 1500? That's impossible.

If someone is 30 years old and started having sex regularly at 15, it means they'd be sexually active for 15 years. 1500/15 years is 100 encounters per year. Someone would have to be having sexual encounters with a new person multiple times a week for that to happen. So highly improbable, it's close to impossible.

I find it ridiculous that someone would even be keeping count that far along.

Third, no its not impressive. It depends on your definition of a high count (10 or more? 20+? 50+? 100+?) But after a certain point can start becoming a red flag.

Absolutely Not. There are surveys that show 70% of women actually loose respect for men who brag about this. I would say women Overall have less issues with that (compared to men when a Potential female partner has a very high count). But the idea that its somehow beneficial or cool is just Not the case.

I dont know any woman that wants a man who slept with 100 peoppe. Its rather gross. Men like that dont seem like Potential boyfriends, as they are more likely to carry a STD and Overall more likely to have other issues (cheating, narcisstic traits). Usually when people have “high counts” they are mixing up deeper psychological needs with sexuality (ego, validation, loneliness, or even just “needing thrills” because they are empty and dead inside).

has a kid floating around somewhere
had impulse control issues
had an std
is high drama

Whether that’s fair or not that would be my default assumption- especially if he’s bragging about it and I know. If I found out a long term partner has slept with that many people I’d probably have follow up questions but it’s something I’d be fine with if I knew he didn’t have any sort of addiction/unfaithfulness.

I have a pretty high body count. But when you break it down it’s not that crazy, it just averages out to sleeping with five people a year. Which is pretty normal if you’re hooking up with people instead of getting into long term relationships.

I will also add that anyone with that many sexual partners has likely caught a disease or had an accidental pregnancy since there's no way that they practiced safe sex in every single incidents. I know that from people I've known personally.

As a woman it is easy to find casual sex but as a man it is not easy to find casual sex as easy as woman can. Body count seams like a performance indicator for man you have to have some sort of value( appreance, filrting ability, powe&money) etc. sex is not same for both gender. I was absolutely subconsciously looking for validation. Thankfully, after much self growth and no stds, i no longer seek validation and am talking to a very healthy girl i hope to see a future with. I dont even blink in anyone elses direction. HOWEVER, i dont see a problem with someone who has healthy, genuine, and honest sexual encounters with people. Meaning its neither impressive nor something to look down on. Its a personal preference and can be a healthy thing if practiced carefully and healthily.

For me personally, if I were to here this back when I was single, it would have be a complete turn off. To me it says you've done a lot of auditions and never made the cut, which means there must be a reason;
a) You're only interested one night stands (which is valid as long as you're honest about your intentions from the get go and both parties are agreed on that).
b) Every person you've been with very quickly realised you're an absolute piece of shit and ran from you so fast they broke the sound barrier.

Having a high body count, for either gender, is totally fine, as long as that body count was wracked up through just having fun with other people who also just wanted to have fun.

It would be a major turn off for me. I’m 21 and only had one partner. I view sex as something that’s an intimate bonding experience bw two ppl who love each other and are ok with the idea of having a future like moving in tg, marriage (years and years and years down the road) and maybe a kid or two.
