Nah I’m telling my friend. Don’t help your friend walk into a desperate marriage knowing she’s unhappy. Your loyalty is to her and her only. Help lead your friend into happiness especially when you know she’s miserable with this guy. I’m sure her friend has told countless stories of the mess she was dealing with and we all know a ring doesn’t fix shit. It’ll be different if her friend was in a happy, healthy relationship but she’s not. So do the right thing for your friend’s sanity and the well being of her child.

I think I would tell her. Not to shit on him, but to stop a possible mistake. I'd sleep much better, knowing that she would have some time to think about it beforehand. Once the question is asked, it could put a lot of pressure onto her.

If I was in the situation, I would have said something to her. Usually that doesnt end all too well for me though. That is something the person should be aware of.

Lol I legit don't understand why women are not over constantly having to tip-toe around the feelings of inconsiderate men under the guise of courtesy. The best option, obviously, is to let him propose and feel the shame of knowing why she says no once he does. So many men need to be embarrassed to be motivated and this sounds like a great learning opportunity.
