Does cutting off work on very high value men? In India, there is surplus of men in dating scene as compared to women but most men are low value. I am an attractive, well educated, software developer with interests including coding/gaming. So guys perceive me as very high value and I haven't had any problems attracting them and getting commitment from them. In fact, most of them display borderline stalker behaviour to gain my affection and keep me. So I am slightly worried about receiving too much male attention.
The problem is most of them are lower value than me and I have tried dating some but jealousy on their part always ruin it. So I need to find a high value man but I am not sure how to go about doing that. First of all, they are rare to find. Secondly, I suppose they would not be as aggressive in their chase as they have plenty of options. So is cutting off a good strategy when we are talking about very high value men?

Thanks for the reply. Making a guy pay for dinner date is definitely good advice. But I suppose I need more investment than that to really analyse their intentions in my situation. Indian men will pay for dates with Indian women, no question about that. Dating is a new concept in Indian society due to the arranged marriage culture. Even now some parents will kill their own daughters if she tries finding a partner on her own. In my case, I don't have to worry about that as my father has left my family so no chance of arranged marriage for me. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing because I can now explore dating, especially online dating, where almost every Indian guy is vying for the attention of very few Indian women brave enough to try dating. Bad thing because many of these guys are looking for sex and will then get arranged marriage with a homely, virgin girl of their parents choice.
They will keep paying for dinner dates, movie dates as guys here also get substantial inheritance from their fathers. It's not a big investment for them to get a chance at scoring with a girl. So seeing my cultural context, how do I go about ensuring that a guy makes some kind of significant investment on me that he won't dump me after I invest in him emotionally and/or sexually? Should I openly ask for expensive gifts or give him subtle hints?
