Sure, i tried staying friends with exes after we broke up but not after we cut contact.

I never wanted to text an ex after we cut contact, never had that need in my life.

I have found myself wondering why he hasn't reached out to me at a time like this (still in that validation mindset ugh), but then I remind myself I wouldn't respond if he did and I'd dislike him even more for not respecting my boundaries and breaking my peace.
