Reminds me of when I kept changing the name of the guy I was seeing on my phone to things like “idiot” “abuser” etc. To try and keep myself from responding IF he ever replied. I wasnt ready to let go so everytime he responded (usually to use me for sex) I changed his name back to his real name lol.

This is a great mindset to have. Recently watched a video on how men versus women think when it comes to relationships. Men tend to start with "100" and keep reducing points whenever something happens, and women, more often than not, keep adding points to it and forgetting to subtract because of infatuation, wearing rose-tinted glasses etc.

Remember both his good and bad points. Add and minus accordingly. Some bad points can be overlooked if they are minor, because realistically speaking nobody is perfect. But being disrespectful? Not respecting boundaries? Goodbye.
