Dating is difficult enough for a woman these days, and I feel like it's amplified when kids are in the mix.

How are vetting strategies different for us that are moms? What are the appropriate trajectories during dating when you have a child? Are your standards different than someone who is childless (or child-free)? What are your boundaries like?

I know that it's said to accept a proposal around the one-year mark with a man, but I don't even consider a man meeting my child until that one-year mark. How long after meeting my child do I consider a proposal? How do I vet a man's behavior when he's becoming involved with my child? How long does their relationship need to develop before we move in together? I at least know I won't consider moving in together without a proposal first, but the rest is just so unknown to me.

I'd love to have a discussion and hear your thoughts! I also appreciate any sources for more information on dating as a mom.
