I think it’s so important to realize that women don’t need a whole book of red flags 🚩 to justify leaving LVM. At the first sign of instability, anxiousness, abuse , regardless of the time spent - you out yourself first and leave.

I hope you take this time to heal, focus on self care and leveling up, set up proper boundaries, articulate your rights and needs, invest in your career or personal growth!

It really is true what they say: birds of a feather flock together. Even if he seems like he’s not like his friends. If I ever happen to be single again, one of the first things I would keep an eye out for is his friends. Past pickme self would not “judge” but now, no way. If he hangs out with misogynistic losers, even if he doesn’t actively engage in the behaviors, it doesn’t bother him enough to stop him being around it. And that’s a no from me, dawg.

As someone going through a divorce I recommend writing out ALL the reasons big and small why he wasn’t right for you, how he made you feel and the things he did and didn’t do for you and refer to it anytime you get nostalgic for the silver linings on a stormy relationship!

Seriously considering this with my bf who once seemed like a HVM but now I can see clearly he's a NVM. But we live together, so I need an exit strategy. He lives with me in the condo I own and I would have to sue to evict him if he doesnt leave voluntarily. I don't know where to start.
