I'm an avid hiker. I can't believe he didn't make sure she got back to her car safely. If someone goes out with you, you are responsible for each other's safety as a team.

people die in the sonoran desert in summer. its the wilderness. the temperatures are lethal, and this is an expert hike that they attempted. hearing stories of people who visit from out of town and end up succumbing to the heat out in the wilderness, where they brought one tiny bottle of water.

(which is its own 🚩 in my opinion. Politics aside, the rates of ipv exacted by cops are notoriously high)

he is not even being considered a suspect in this poor woman's death.

Angela Tramonte deserves justice, which begins with the bare minimum of a proper investigation into her untimely death.

The cop is Dario Dizlar and he's built like a brick wall. No one took water? bullshit. Do you think he forgets to bring water to the gym?

It's just too suspicious. Theory 1 is she rejected him before and he wanted to punish her, so he convinced her to do this walk date to put her through extreme physical discomfort and prove himself better than her. Then when she decided to turn back his mission was accomplished, he had "beaten" her, and she wasn't worth anymore of his attention so he didn't care if she walked back alone.

Or, he's one of those psychos that want to experience murdering someone and this was his plan - to push someone to their limit and let exposure do the rest, and him just not interviene. He'd be the "you're only stupid if you get caught" type. The lawyers need to dig out the text messages between them and look for any indication that he downplayed the hike, or told her not to bring anything like sunscream or water because he's have it.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a racial motive behind it either.

He probably came onto her, made her uncomfortable, and she turned back. Or he made her feel unsafe and she felt the need to run.

Why the hell if somebody tells you they are exhausted, would you split up with them?! And when all her belongings were at her car, but he finished the hike, he must have some water? But he did not give it to her? And later makes comments about how dangerous hiking in this mountain is?

This article makes me furios for so many reasons. And I cannot imagine a scenario where we would let an exhausted person continue to walk back alone. Even if I were walking with my husband and we would meet a stranger I would try to walk them back (if they let me)!

Here’s what my sister taught me before going on my first date, if you don’t know the guy, always go on public dates with lots of people around. Be sure to not leave food unattended and if you do, don’t eat it after you have returned.

If a guy ever asks you to come to his house, go on anything that involves the wilderness, and wants you to come to him, run!

The first date should always be on your terms. He could suggest ideas, but it’s you who has final say in the activity.

They just released new information saying that his initial statement contradicted what he’s saying now. He initially said he hiked the mountain all the time now he is saying that was the first time. Camelback is no joke, that is not a mountain for beginners. Don’t ever go hiking or walking to meet a man you don’t know. And don’t ever fly out to meet a man you don’t know, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been “talking”online. I almost got caught into that myself earlier this year and I’m SO thankful I didn’t. This poor girl.
