While the purpose of FDS had been women-centric and women-counseling, it seems to be issuing instructions on how women should live their lives and even putting labels on them because of their choices.

Oh please. This is a BS argument. Women get labelled no matter what they do. Look at the words the Manosphere has for women - they have something for everyone!

Another BS argument. Plenty of subs have had to take this stance or their community becomes overrun. People can take that discussion elsewhere on Reddit which is done every single day. A sub-reddit is NOT a self-contained website. It seems to be laying down outdated norms for women and despite growing in numbers, doesn’t address issues between men and women. It only provides solutions that fit into its framework.

I don't know about the rest of FDS but I don't care what other women do. I don't want to ride the cock carousel, and I don't care if some other chick wants to ride 100 dicks a day. But I know that casual sex is shitty for me and I want a life partner and I want a man that views sex the same way I do.

Also, the most I have seen on FDS that it 'antiquated' is the steps for the beginning of the relationship to try to see if a man is serious about her. I for one have a new lease on life because of this sub. I didn’t have a wise female figure at any point in my life or even a “protective father figure.” So I was lost to the wolves pretty much and wondering why I was taken advantage of literally all. the. time. I had no rule book, no gauge, no nothing. Walked all over at every turn. Been in multiple abusive relationships and didn’t get why being nice got me nowhere.

I honestly think my life is going to turn out so much better for me having found this place. Really. I think some women here feel the same and that’s why we’re trying to get others to at least come take a look. If we can save one poor girl from a miserable life of catering to someone that doesn’t even really like her that much? It’s a good thing.
