It's so funny that when you flip it, for example in 500 days of Summer when Summer says they're just friends and Tom says friends don't do that, we're obviously more than friends - that, men understood. Because they empathized with the male in the scenario, now suddenly it's crystal clear and Summer's the b*tch.

The difference is that Summer said upfront she doesn't believe in love and doesn't want a boyfriend, meanwhile men lie to you about having serious intentions and then turn around and gaslight you like "Whaaaat? Nah, we just friends"

I WISH my friends who have sex on the first date and get HURT repeatedly and would choose to shamelessly VET. Instead they keep getting used and ghosted repeatedly. And its covid so yes, you guessed correctly, they're having sex after a walking date.

Anyone witness this repeatedly with their friends and have any tips? I just hear the same stories on repeat and it makes me so, so sad. They're lovely people who are being treated like fleshlights.

One guy wouldn't walk my friends TEN MINUTES to her house after sex at 2AM (and she couldn't sleep over because he had an early meeting and needed her out, the SCUMBAG). When it was 1. On his Bumble profile. and 2. he verbalized it MANY times. He kept saying "I'm so done with hooking up, I want one partner, I'm so done/tired with that lifestyle".

And you're telling me men can't lie like this...? I don't understand.
