Some reasons why I think they act this way:

1- they pretend to be idiots because it gives them advantage in society to be treated as children who can barely take care of themselves so you can baby them and do everything for them, as well as escaping responsibility for a lot of thier actions and using it as an excuse for thier behavior ("you have to communicate!" " Men don't know they're being creepy, they're just flirting!" "Men are simple creatures!")

2- they can't understand them because they objectify them and it suits their needs to not connect with women so they can escape guilt or consequences for what they're doing to those women.

3- they're entitled and delusional and can't understand how women don't want them so they start making all sorts of theories for why, they also project themselves on other men.

But on the inside all those men know they're trash and will show you self awareness in different situations before flipping back to thier original state.

Most of them seem to be native manipulators. Drama queens disguised as alpha males that just want to take advantage of their “privileged male statuses”. Fellow queens, start digging deep into psychology and psychiatry so you can protect yourself from these creatures. I know it’s been helping me a lot.

Women are more likely to care about people other than themselves. That’s what they can’t figure out.

When a woman shows them empathy, they soak it right up. When she expects empathy in return, they exclaim, “do you expect me to be a mind reader?!”

When a woman can tell by a man’s body language that he is feeling down or sick and tries to help, they soak it right up. When a woman can tell by a man’s body language that he is objectifying her or being dismissive or condescending, suddenly they cry, “why is she exaggerating?! I didn’t say any of that!”

Women, who by nature have a bit more social ability and by culture have a far larger expectation to have social skills from a very young age are basically performing magic as far as such men can tell.

I think a lot of men do things they know they aren’t supposed to do having decided in advance they will try to play it off as not understanding or knowing any better. All attempts to communicate just give him a pass, because he knew what he was doing was wrong and relied on “communicating” to get away with it. So long as someone is communicating they are still tolerating his behavior and allowing him to get away with it, versus just leaving and cutting communication.

I think they mean that they can't understand how a person can be truthful, kind, loyal, and not solely motivated by getting laid, and project that as our complexity rather than their inferiority?

Good point. It's also sexist as hell to say "I don't understand women" because it means they see us as a fucking hive mind. They can't connect on a personal level so they make all these stupid theories about what a woman is and what a woman is not. We're just people Kyle, not sex robots with heels and lipstick and different colored themes jfc.

Most of them are too stupid to understand complex sciences of that sort, but they're not dumb enough not to understand women or the consequences of their actions. They lie about their intellect when it suits them, they pretend to be smart when it's convenient and brain-dead when it isn't.

I don't believe it either.

Men are biologically hardwired to be pickmes and make themselves desirable so that a woman might "pick" them. So they spend a lot of time studying women. If he wanted to understand you, he would.
