I’m glad Im not the only one here who thinks I deserve a nice ring. I was berated by my ex’s family when he told them that I had mentioned to him wanting something nice... it didn’t have to be over the top but I wanted a decent sized diamond. I’m pretty sure he told them that that was the reason he had to break up with me. He failed to mention though that he had also been cheating and decided that he wanted to be with the other woman

I told dudes in my life NEVER EVEN CONSIDER PROPOSING TO ME WITH A RING. I don’t want it and would actually be pretty pissed if they ignored my ask and preference and got a ring instead of what I really want to be proposed to with — which is my dream car.

Those are awesome, but alas, not the brand of my dream car. What I was is considered by many to be a “junk” car that’s idealized almost entirely for the era and brief popularity
