Okay do these posts piss anyone else off? The same couple of incidents are reposted to make it seem like it happens all the time, and everyone in the comments are more pissed off than if an actual rape occurred.

Dude these guys are writing fake rape fanfiction about how a girl totally raped them and then doing AMAs on it here on reddit. I've even seen them posting their fantasies in trauma subreddits for rape and PTSD.

The part that always gives this fake shit away is the language. Like here "they took him out of school in shackles". For him to be arrested he would have had to already admit it and the women would have to have physical proof of him beating them and raping them. And they still wouldn't use shackles.

Men are soooo much more upset about a handful of highly publicized false accusations of sex crimes + many many fake stories of false accusations, than they are about the thousands of violent crimes committed by men against women and girls every single day. Men are such a liability. They, as a group, really can't be trusted.

meanwhile, tons of lives are ruined every single fucking day, people are committing suicide. yet no one gives a shit.

i have personally been struggling ever since i was just barely 17. i still can't go to that city where it first happe and get panic attacks at the mere mentioning of their names. nothing ever happened to them. but here i am not being able to sleep, trust people or even see police without completely breaking down. and if i tell a "friend" they're constantly trying to tell me it was my fault.

i'm sorry for the rant but I'm just so sick and tired of this. i just want to live a happy god damn life...

So glad this has been brought up here. I see maybe 3 or 4 posts per day online about false rape accusations, usually posted by men. How many posts do I see from men supporting female rape victims and advocating for them? Absolutely none.

I hate these (mostly made up) stories about women or teenage girls making false rape accusations and how they claim it's sOoOoOoOo easy for a woman to ruin a man's life that way. First, do these men live under a rock or do they just ignore the fact there are plenty of powerful men who have been accused of rape? Second, are none of them aware how much it takes to convict someone on rape charges? I'm sure it's slightly different everywhere, but I'm fairly certain no innocent little teen boy has ever been behind bars just because a woman claimed - with no further evidence other than her statement - that he raped her. That's not how it works. I've seen so many women online say they never reported their sexual assaults because there's no way to prove it happened.

I am a sexual assault survivor and I never reported the incidents because a) the perpetrators gaslit me into thinking it wasn't rape and b) even if I had wanted to report, there wouldn't have been evidence definitely proving that the incident was non consensual.

A lot of women choose not to report because they are aware that not only will the rapist likely go unpunished, but she will be subjected to humiliating questions at some point during the process of reporting.

I'm willing to bet that for every false rape report, there are thousands of unreported rapes. Where are the memes about these cases?
