I just wanted somewhere to say this.

I know it's not much, but today I told a man who was coming onto me (love bombing after TWO days of knowing him) that his behaviour was making me uncomfortable.

I've always had real trouble in the last standing up for myself, because I come from an abusive background, so this is a huge deal for me. And I made myself not play it down. I was not going to say 'your behaviour is making me a little uncomfortable' I made sure I said 'your behaviour is inappropriate and making me very uncomfortable'.

Again I know it's not much but for me it's a huge achievement.

For context, he is the head of a charity, that I reached out to in relation to a scam artist. I worked with him to report the activity to the police and as soon as that was done he started telling me I was gorgeous and describing physical things he wanted to do to me. He phoned me three times today before I was even awake and left me a voice mail telling me he loved me. He calls himself an 'earth angel' and says he hasn't had a relationship in over 16 years.

Edited to add: he of course is very hurt I bought him up on his behaviour and says 'i want the world but the world doesn't want me :('. I told him it wasn't fair to put that on me and he went off on one saying that was my assumption not what he said and I was taking him out of context. Man baby and emotional manipulation for the win.
