Imagine kissing and touching this man!!! Sleeping next to that! It's so disgusting I can't wrap my head around the fact that this isn't a deal-breaker. And SHE wants to buy him a new pillow with HER money? Girl dump him!! I don't even want to imagine how he is with general hygiene in other areas, if he doesn't mind rubbing his face and hair in that crap I'm sure he is not too careful with showering or washing his ass either.

I don’t agree with throwing people’s things away. I’m big on personal property....

That being said, she needs to leave him ASAP. Run, don’t walk. Why would you even want to be with someone who CLEARLY lack basic hygiene? That’s so gross, can you imagine all of the dead skin and dust mites that reside in there? She’s crazy for putting up with that (and I’m sure he probably doesn’t even wash his ass if he doesn’t realize this pillow is more than likely messing with his face).

So, throw the man away and move on. Let him continue to sleep with his pillow without you there.

I noticed that a lot of men do not know they’re supposed to wash their pillow every few months and replace them at least one a year.

They will wash the sheets and pillowcases, but not the pillow. 🤢 They also drool on them and sleep with wet hair.

Things like this (and many others), added up are why single men die sooner and are sicker than married men. Nobody is checking them.

They also dont go to annual doctor and dentist exams unless there’s a major problem or bone chilling pain.

Their meals are also imbalanced and they do a lot of takeout from restaurants that focus more on taste than nutrition.

I really don’t know what else to say.... 🤦‍♀️

Not surprising. Reddit is full of mattress humpers who think that a woman is the worst person in the world for "trying to change a guy" even if he dresses like he's homeless or has a petri dish for a pillow.

My boyfriend changes his sheets, duvet cover and pillow cases every 2 days, sometimes daily if he's been sweating more than usual with weather or whatever. Washes his duvet and pillows once a month. He's my first proper relationship after separating from my ex of 11 years/daughter's father, who was a total mama's boy and utterly pathetic when it came to hygiene and domestic activity. I didn't realise in the beginning that his mother done pretty much everything for him except wipe his own ass. When I found this out when we were living together, and put a stop to it because it made me uncomfortable having someone else doing personal things in my home, it was basically the death knolls for our relationship, because he was utterly disgustingly unhygienic. I have a life long illness that can leave me bedridden for a few days at a time and I would come to, absolutely horrified at the state of my house and physically unable to rectify the damage because I was ill. He was also emotionally and financially abusive with heavy physical intimidation, so unfortunately it took me longer than I'd have liked to get him out of our lives, but it's been like heaven since he's been gone! And my boyfriend is like a breath of fresh air compared to him, he's so different in the way he thinks and acts, it's amazing how a difference in something like hygiene can make so much of a difference in lifestyle and love. There's been some rough moments here and there over these last 7 months, but no one is perfect and we've worked it out. I feel so grateful sometimes, especially if when he's staying at mine, and I have a rough day/days health wise, to wake up to a clean house, and when I see he's even done a load of laundry or 2 as well as keeping on top of the general day to day stuff? So thoughtful and helpful that I just about melt... I feel so bad for this woman, she deserves so much better than this literal dirt bag of a man child...
