I totally agree. Comparing men to men is pointless.
None of my partners so far have been better than me, or even comparable to me, in any way. It's kind of sad, really.
These days when and if I meet a guy, I automatically run a simulation in my head and it always ends in "meh" feeling. They don't have anything they can offer to me that I don't already have. I would be sacrificing my time and effort for "meh", and my time is precious.

This is why I haven’t had a crush on a man in YEARS. I can enjoy them as friendly acquaintances, the occasional friend or family member, and colleagues, but dating-wise? I am better to me than any man has ever been to me. Why even bother with a man?

I found some men to be pretty fun to be around. If they can behave, act civil, they really are alright. But IN MODERATE DOSES. Even if I were to have a bf, I wouldnt wanna dive deep into his mind/life. I don't need him at home 24/7. I don't need him to know my deepest secrets, be my confidant. There are obviously necessary decent qualities he must have, but that doesn't mean I want him as a whole package in my life to deal with. It would only be a burden to me.

The only thing I’m cheating with is the luxury of having an entire king sized bed all to myself. Ever wake up in the morning in the middle of the summer, and just slide over to the other side of the bed where the sheets are nice and cool? It’s glorious.

I had completely forgotten the snoring. There needs to be a whole post about sleep deprivation, the many ways men cause it, and how a HVM would handle the situation …if anyone knows? Has anyone here been with a HVM who snored? Did he go sleep in another room without somehow having that destroy the intimacy in the relationship? Did he get the surgery? …Do HVM just not snore in the first place?

Haha, there was a male celebrity in my country years ago that kind of became a meme for what he said to the press after being released from 72h jail time for, idk, pissing in public while inebriated. He said, with terror in his eyes "That was a horrible, absolutely terrible experience. I had to sit alone with myself for 72h, this was unbearable!" He wasn't making a joke, it was a stream of incoherent sentences fresh out jail, he was very relieved. 😆

When you’re alone You can eat at wherever expensive / hip / fun / cute place You can without wondering if it’s “too much”..
You can go out and buy the things you liked without being nagged for being spendthrifts; when in reality it’s not because of saving, they just cannot afford you and the lifestyle you’re accustomed so you have to scale it down to not make them feel small…
You’re not scrolling social media wondering why they are online but they haven’t replied to you yet for the past 6 hours or so…

Most of my friends get confused on why I look so happy, vibrant and radiant while I am being single to the point that they said I look "shiny af".
Being single means I can focus on myself and get to know about myself more. These things definitely cultivate self-love within me, this turns positive and hopeful attitudes that I have about life.

Unhealthy people do not understand this. When you're too blinded by toxicity, you cannot comprehend that no relationship is better than a bad or meh relationship.
They are the types that have a list of things they hate about the other and the ones that betray that "relationship" constantly by being abusive, cheating, lying, gaslighting etc.
They would rather dump shit on the other on Reddit, abuse them, call them names, complain, denying all the time that their methods tell on themselves...It's all a weakling's mode of justifying the unjustifiable. They will use that to justify their cheating, lying, funneling of funds into addictions like alcohol, drugs, prostitutes, pornography, gambling. Because just leaving/dumping/ divorcing/abandoning a person they never loved, respected or had any empathy for (but they have in general zero empathy) does not offer them the possibility of feeding off the other's anguish.
They are psychephiles, they love witnessing the slow destruction of their partner while blaming it all on them. It's their excuse to never take responsibility for their acts. That's how usually, women in these types of relationships become the proverbial ball & chain about which the men will start complaining on Reddit or anonymously on other platforms. The types of men that hit up on teenage girls while talking shit that their girlfriend/ wife who had given birth to their 3 kids is not attractive anymore or didn't put out anymore or that he's looking for methods to cheat on her without her finding out.
Why would these men want the cake and to eat it too?
Why not just leave? Hm? Why not just go get that sexy rich supermodel, hm? What is stopping you, LVM?

This is why it's so important to have a great relationship with yourself first and foremost. This includes being content and happy by yourself. Only then can you have a superior baseline for comparison.
