I went on a fifth date with a guy recently. I’m still trying to figure out if he’s high value or not, but I have a feeling he’s not.

He took me out to an expensive event. He asked me if I would be interested the day after we met and then we had 3 dates more dates before the event.

I offered to go dutch just because of the sheer expense. He said no, he wanted to pay it all.

The date was a bit awkward, not gonna lie. Probably my least favorite date with him. He didn’t acknowledge certain things I would say and talked about niche topics for a lot of the date (topics I wasn’t entirely knowledgeable about so couldn’t have a discussion with him). He also corrected me kind of harshly a couple times. I don’t mind being corrected (and I was wrong in both these instances) but the tone turned me off a bit.

At the end of the night, I gave him a quick peck (we had been french kissing since the 3rd date), said I had fun, and left. There was no discussion of another date. I remembered I forgot something in his car later and pulled up to his house. He gave it to me, and I dodged his kiss for a hug/cheek kiss awkward combo.

He hasn’t texted me so I think he felt like I’m not interested. Maybe he’s waiting for me to reach out, I’m not sure.

I’m a very sensitive person and haven’t dealt with guys much in my life. I’ve learned that a lot of things that make me uncomfortable would be just fine with the ordinary/average woman. But if I’m not feeling 100% comfortable, I don’t have to push myself to get “experience” right? Isn’t that what FDS teaches?
