I want to add a warning about steroids lite: these are products like AlphaMars (and other marketed “test boosters”) and SARMS. Make no mistake these are dangerous and not things you want to find in your bae’s bathroom cabinet.

My ex used both of these products. He took SARMS before we met, with the understanding that it was going to help his bad knees. He had crazy mood swings which he convinced me were because he had taken it wrong and had not taken a “post cycle” medication. He then got on the post cycle medication and became crazier. He stopped after a few weeks.

He then took alphamars and was back to his crazy shit. Then he took a “herbal” version his friend was selling. My relationship became nothing more than constant failed attempts at sex because he couldn’t sustain an erection, insane tantrums and accusations of cheating, and just overall hell.

His blood tests showed normal test levels , he was eventually referred to a specialist whose life work is studying the effects of steroids and other supps on young males. We finally had an answer: his “supplement” abuse had stopped his body’s ability to produce estrogen, so he was essentially a Gollum made of nothing more than toxic masculinity. Treatment? Nothing. Nothing he could do except wait, and the estimated wait time was 280 to 400 days before his body could be in a normative range. He was banned from taking anything besides protein and creatine, anything at all from a supplement shop.

I left because no way in hell was that worth sticking around for.

Trenbolone, like testosterone, is an anabolic steroid. It's three times more powerful. Think of all these disgusting comments and sentiments expressed by these scrotes, but reduced in power. Still fucking gross. And that is what the average male is like.

Women need to know that these steroids, natural or not, have a HUGE impact on male behavior and are (along with socialization, imo) responsible for the higher rates of depravity encountered in men compared to women. Some men have naturally higher levels of testosterone and it impacts their ability to behave like rational, thinking, empathetic human beings.

I would say there’s one physical thing that is a strong indicator that they’re are on the juice - their balls are the size of grapes or non existent. My ex didn’t have balls! And then suddenly they just grew back... all my gfs who dated guys in steroids have mentioned the tiny balls. I've never taken anabolic steroids but I have had corticosteroids, they gave me anger issues in high doses, fortunately I'm on a tiny dose now and I don't have those issues. I have a friend who is married to a 'roid head. He smashes holes in doors and beats her up. It breaks my heart I can't get her away from him. He doesn't work, just spends all day at the gym and typing on Facebook like a London gangster.

There are women who do steroids (tbh I’m not on any now) and I’ve noticed when they do run a cycle they at least care about how their behavior affects others.

And even in women’s bodybuilding communities the energy is positive and not incel at all. I’m not advocating for steroid use but I do notice these trends. And even women who do testosterone (wouldn’t recommend, I could go in why but not the point) know to not be a dick and use gear as an excuse to be an asshole.

I’ve seen guys get tren and get excited FOR the impending disaster to come. Women don’t just burn the house down for fun. Gains aren’t worth it like that.

Not a roid guy, but someone who worked out AND was a narcissist at the same time, so of course the latter was expressed through the former in many ways. He mocked my butt, that it was not like the veery firm ones he saw on female bodybuilders (who had unimaginably low body fat percentage at the time the photos were taken). He told me that the way I look now, I'm just average. Triangulated me by storing butt pics of an ex and maany downloaded pics of bodybuilder women on his desktop (I used the computer too at the time, because my old laptop didn't work). He had a very awful relationship with food - broccoli-rice-chicken breast combo or binge-eating, no in-between. Due to childhood trauma, I feel bad about overeating or talking about overeating and he triggered it constantly (I never overeat myself). Since then, I'm in a not very FDS, but overall good relationship where my man really loves my body and thinks my butt is terrific, and he is a sporty guy but not because he wants to look better (well, he wants to, but he doesn't put too much emphasis on it) He likes cycling, hiking, running, etc., and he motivates me to do sports because he knows it boosts my mood, keeps my depression and anxiety at a lower level and keeps me healthy.

Edit: Oh, and my ex also kept porn (and pictures) bookmarked on the computer who had very visible breast implants, and I have a small chest myself. He lovebombed me in the beginning with how he was so fond of my body and elegant frame, how I'm his ideal woman, how I have the perfect body for him, and then during the course of the relationship he made me feel shit about my body in many ways and shoved his true ideals in my face (or it wasn't his ideal, just did it purposefully to neg me, it doesn't matter)

This is really making me think about the body builder I was with at 19. Towards the end of our relationship he was benching at least 500 lbs daily and he would fly into these rages. Damn this is really eye opening. I never thought that he could have been on steroids!

My partner is a bodybuilder and initially I was very cautious because of that fact. In my eyes, you should do EXTRA vetting on any male who goes out of his way to be more physically capable of doing harm, just as a survival tactic. If he is like my boyfriend who just really values feeling and looking his best, great - but if that changes or isn't the case, it's not worth the risk of staying. I'm a certified self defense instructor who also bow hunts and tracks and all, so I am kind of intimately aware of my own motivations as well as the inherent violence many men in these skill niches are prone to. Insightful comment from OP and a disturbingly useful post.
