I’m sorry if this has been asked before - I don’t recall what I’ve seen on this sub being as direct as this question. I’ve been a lurker for about 6-7 years now. I’ve found a pattern that everywhere, there is latent and sometimes pretty open misogyny on this site.

Some examples: the absolutely disgusting women-hating porn subs. The different advice males get vs. women on relationship subs. The whole /r/AmITheAsshole sub takeaway basically being women bad, men good. How women can’t post pictures of themselves in /r/bigboobproblems or /r/Reduction without harassment. Also how women can’t post in fitness subs without harassment. It’s absurd imo.

I’ve come to really despise the typical reddit male. Not really the one that browses reddit in their free time or to discuss sports, but the ones that contribute to the patterns I see above.
