I still find it amazing when I see feminists proclaiming how easy men have it. I've read social media posts from them saying men are handed everything to them at every corner and the world gives everything to men.

I think another point should be mentioned. Men are perceived as threats and as predators simply for existing near women and children. More eyes are on men when they're near children. I've read stories from male teachers mentioning how they can't even hug a child in distress without people looking at them weirdly and seeing them as creeps. They always have to have another teacher with them when they're alone with a female student, too.

There are even TikTok videos mentioning how they don't trust men as Gynecologists. When you read the comments it's a bunch of people saying "why are men even Gynecologists?", "all men think with their dicks, trust me", "men are pedos", etc, each comment with hundreds or thousands of likes.

Or Twitter posts saying how mothers won't allow their daughters to wear yoga pants near their fathers because it might turn the fathers on.

Men, often simply for existing, are perceived as predators, creeps, and/or pedos. I know the excuse is typically "the statistics", even though there's a lot of under-reporting when it comes to female predatory behavior. And the weekly stories of female teachers with underaged male students. At least 6 female teachers were arrested in April.

Contrary to popular belief; life as a male is not always to live it on easy mode.

From the day many are born, to the day they die, it is often to live a life of vulnerability, violation, disadvantage, and neglect.

Whether it’s the needless infant circumcision of babies on day zero, the way boys are left behind in western education, how they are so often sexually violated in adolescence, the unique vulnerabilities in adulthood, or lack of rights in fatherhood; the many issues that plague boys and men live in darkness.

They are not under the public spotlight of political campaigning, or public ire.

They are not picked at by think tanks, researched by academics, or fought for in the trenches of advocacy. The spotlight of awareness for boys and men is switched off.

And as a result, not only are these issues not addressed, but worse, we are led to believe that they simply aren’t there at all.

But just because something can’t be seen, or isn’t spoken about, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

Because they do.And our failure to advocate boys and men, and worse, to attack those who do, will surely be a black mark on our history.

What’s left until then is to keep playing the game.

To watch boys and men run the gauntlet of life alone; where they stumble, fall, get up, fall again, are forgotten about, and too often tumble into the abyss.

The kind hand of society is not reaching out to help them, but is instead clenched angrily, jutting out an accusatory finger: this is your problem boys, and yours to solve.

So let’s see what the game of life is like for so many boys and men out there…

I just adore the work y'all do. These infographics are never angry or vitriolic. You never feel the need to attack a person or group of people in order to make your points and you don't feel the need to diminish the struggle of women to bring light to the struggle of men.

Y'all just consistently make harrowing but incredibly informative posts. Thanks for sharing again.

There’s an iconic 2006 NYT opinion To All The Girls I’ve Rejected of a college admissions officer talking about the crazy disparity in male/female college admissions. This was almost TWENTY years ago.

The feminist-biased theories for this are very frustrating because, as always, they seek to blame/pathologize men. Have you ever thought that maybe the toxic and misandristic parts of feminism could be socializing boys to be low-attaining by endlessly blaming and shaming them whilst empowering and elevating girls? Boys have grown up in an era where they are blamed, shamed, and unappreciated, while girls are praised, empowered, and desired. That’s not gender equality, it’s revenge and women’s supremacy.

Feminist will see all this,and then claim that this is all a result of men upholding "patriarchy",but patriarchy still hurts women more.

The later statement is obviously just nonsense.As this infographics shows that men are doing worse in almost every area including education,life expectancy,health,suicide,etc.So objectively the "patriarchy" is not hurting women more.

However I would love to hear how a feminist would defend the claim that this is a result of men upholding patriarchy.I think they would just say this is all due to benevolent sexism.

If they do this they would have to concede that we do not live in a hostile sexist patriarchy that feminist describe.They would also have to reconcile the idea that benevolent sexism is bad with the fact that feminists themselves have advocated for benevolent sexism.The duluth model is one example.

I wonder what they would say then,maybe they would blame it on "internalized misogyny".I don't know when the mental gymnastics end.

You know what makes this worse? That post you made about men's candles burning at both ends - men in general work more. Since more women go into higher education, they're not obligated to work to be productive, while men, given their education ends earlier, work from a younger age.

So we start working earlier and end working later. Fun, huh.

Implying men don’t have male privilege and that anyone is really saying random kids are responsible for all of the worlds problems is both a gross misrepresentation of feminism AND inherently harmful to the point you’re trying to make. Half of the stats here are DIRECTLY because of the Patriarchy yet you fail to mention that completely.

Surely the solution is somewhere between blaming people rightly pointing out the innate advantages males have and completely ignoring them.

I disagree with the 5th slide. Male children do not fall back because they are treated unfairly. Many boys end up working harder to impress the teachers and most girls don't learn properly since nobody points out their mistakes. That's why boys end up in much higher fields. Also some of the stats are only true for the US right? I feel like this research was done for US only
