Some of you may already know about Sabina Nessa, but for those who don't, she was a 28-year-old woman who was unfortunately murdered in the evening, her body being found in Cator Park.

I am bringing this up because people are comparing her to Sarah Everard, and they are already bringing up "male violence" and how men are apparently supposed to take responsibility for the actions of one man.

I am just honestly dreading what's to come because I'm scared that there's gonna be more posts of people comparing men to animals (White Supremacist logic, essentially) and sharing the message "We shouldn't be teaching women to be safe, we should be teaching men not to rape!"

I am just tired, because I don't want to be made to feel like a monster again for simply existing.

Honestly the most disgusting thing to come from all of this is that much like Everard, people are politicising Nessa's name. Just like Sarah, her body is barely cold, and people are using her name as a means of pushing an agenda.
