My friends and I used to box. I was extremely small at 16, almost prepubescent. I would box kids a foot taller 50lbs heavier. One day one of the guys girlfriend who was taller and weighed more than me said she wanted to box me, I declined, but she kept pushing.

Lmao, the fact they needed to study this is laughable.

This has been common sense for centuries. Excluding top level athletes juiced to the gills, average human males are stronger then average human females. Every. single. time. The difference is so profound that even a 'weak looking', shorter men can usually wipe the floor with a taller, more 'fit' looking female. It mostly comes down to skeletal and muscle structure. Men get to have more muscles in their upper body, which makes them better fighters. (You need upper body musculature for punches, grappling, subduing your enemy, etc). Pair that with the fact that men in general have more muscle mass then women.

On the flipside our immune system sucks compared to women. Our immune systems are slightly weaker to allow our bodies to 'transform' more. Male bodies are more sensitive to testosterone and the growth it induces, and the sacrifice we have to make for that is weaker immune system.

Hence Man-Flu. We'll shrug off a broken bone or other injuries, but once something hits us in the immune system we suffer.
