If you look at my previous posts, you can see that I have been dealing with a big struggle in my marriage. For a long time I was drinking, smoking , playing videogames, all that shit. I was also mean to my wife as she constantly threw herself at me and eventually she reached her breaking point. At one instance, she claimed to want a divorce. I pulled a big beta move at the time and said we can work it out. This was before I found redpill... but anyway...

I turned things around big time. Lifting has been huge, I accepted the fact that divorce was inevitable (THIS MENTALITY WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT, I THROUGHLY BELIEVED IT WAS OVER). But I also started living my life as if she wasn't even there. Making my own dinners, going to park with my boys, cleaning MY house, taking care of MY pets. I mean, the list goes on. Slowly she has become more attracted to me. I can tell by her subtle body language, and at times her NOT so subtle body language.

Now, what happened next was a precisely timed conversation, in which I had already spent months slowly getting her back into my frame.

Yesterday, I officially and verbally claimed the lead role in our relationship. I told her we both have roles to fill if we really want our marriage to work. I described to her those roles, and also talked about captain/first mate, pilot/pilot not flying. I told her that I am to lead this family, but she has to be capable of doing so when I am not there. It's not about me being a step above her (although I treat her as the responsible teenager of the house) but rather her not carrying the burden of making day to day decisions.

She ate it up. Especially when I gave her the example of what to eat for dinner. Our discussion was pretty much like this:

Me: "So when we bought our new car, we both discussed and came to the agreement of which car we would get. That was a big decision that we made together. But take dinner the other night. You complained to me that I don't trust you to make decisions. So I told you, 'Ok, what do you want for dinner?' You were silent, so I went and got McDonald's. Leave those daily choices to me, you don't have to worry about what we're eating. I won't suggest anything you don't like because there is plenty that we both like."

So what happened last night?

Well, I recently made some new friends through my son's boy scout pack. I'm 28, I work at a warehouse in which I recently received a promotion in May (Thank you redpill). These guys are all older, engineers, owners of their own construction company, and one guy owns a golf shop and is on the school board. So you can definitely say that I have adopted a new social circle.

We've been having beers every Thursday night after our scout meetings and last night, I got home a bit late. She was noticeably upset about this. She insisted that nothing was wrong, so I took her pants off, had her on her belly, put her ass up and buried my face in there. We went at it, then she stopped me, rolled me over and rode that shit like it was the last time she was ever gonna get dick.

It's not that we arent having sex. We do it all the time. It's just this is different because she was clearly upset at me out because I wasn't there laying pipe lmfao.

Today she calls me on my way to work, telling me how she can't wait til I get home, I say we're gonna go get groceries, yada yada, and yeah, I admit, I like doing that shit with her and the boys.

So, as it turns out, redpill works. Not that you guys DONT know this, but I'm hoping to at least provide an example for those men who come here in shambles due to their wife wanting a divorce. It has definitely been a slow process over the past 9 months and you have to add some of that shudders beta comfort to the mix, but all in all, this is just a perfect example of what happens if you lift, take ownership of your own life, and take the lead in your marriage.
