I can't speak for everyone, I can't even speak for everyone that identifies the same as I, however I can speak for myself. I'm a gay man, and I've noticed gay rights activists have went straight out into the deep end of batshit insane, foaming at the mouth and with a great deal of us ending up with skin made of damp tissue paper.

I've seen gay men demand special rights and special treatment and I've seen other gay men use their sexual orientation as a shield to deflect criticism and use an endless stream of appeals to emotion fallacies. I've seen other gay men use being gay as a means to silence opposition and as a means to censor dissenting speech.

It's something I've noticed, even though I'm open about my sexuality, I still get a regular stream of idiots at the ready to call even me a homophobic bigot in an effort to silence me, which is strange in itself but I digress that point.

I want to apologize. Not all gay men are batshit insane, have damp tissue paper for skin and not all of us are blithering fucking idiots. But all the same, I apologize for how shitty and hateful gay people can be.

And yes, you're welcome to call me a fag, fudge packer, homo, etc. My skin's not made of tissue paper.
