I can't believe they are forcing him to pay for a child that isn't his.

[+]DirtyPartyMan78 points 5 years ago [recovered] (62 children) | Copy Link

If you look at the situation as the State does you will see the motivations and why Morality has very little place in Government if seen through administrative eyes with a focus on Operations and Cost Effectiveness towards budget.

In most of Europe (with a focus on Germany) even With scientific proof most courts will Not even hear the case.

[–]Yousunkmyredditship1 43 points44 points45 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

Morality has nothing to do with it. The justice system is supposed to be about fairness (civil court) and justice (criminal court).

None of these cases satisfy either of these conditions.

[–]DirtyPartyMan10 points 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

You win

[–]Cookiedoughjunkie 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

it's money. If they make him financially responsible, the state (country) won't be.

[–]Yousunkmyredditship1 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

How about we make the fucking piece of shit woman be responsible for her own actions.

Kid gets a court ordered DNA test, she must name the real father. If she refuses, she must support the child alone, or if she is incapable, she must immediately surrender the child to an adoption agency/CPS.

[–]Kersallus 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

The biggest issue is all of these options are damaging to the ALSO blameless child. The father isnt guilty, but neither is the kid. The issue is the state doesn't want to pay the bill.

[–]Yousunkmyredditship1 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

So it’s okay to fuck over the blameless adult, and coddle the absolutely blame worthy adult who lied and cheated?

Fuuuuck that.

Children shouldn’t be raised by liars and cheaters. And men shouldn’t have to support kids they didn’t sire.

[–]Kersallus 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

I never said it was. The problem is there isn't a way to do one without the other unfortunately, and the state stepping in would be the only real way to do it- and they just won't.

Doesnt make it fair or just, but im just offering reasoning.

[–]Yousunkmyredditship1 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

The problem is there isn't a way to do one without the other unfortunately, and the state stepping in would be the only real way to do it- and they just won't.

Or maybe, we let a little personal responsibility into the equation and let the cheater deal with the repercussions of her actions.

If she can name the real father, and a blood test proves it, then he can pay for the child. Otherwise, I don’t care if she has to whore herself out on the street, I shouldn’t have to pay for her shit decisions, and neither should the poor bastard that the lied to and cheated on.

[–]Kersallus 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Viable, but has its own problems that kind of lead back to the original issue.

[–]Yousunkmyredditship11 point 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

There is no original issue. You make a child, you have to care for it or turn it over to the state.

You don’t make a child, you don’t have any responsibility for it, or it’s’ whore-mother.

[–]Rexguy1201 point 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

How is there an issue, that a completely unrelated person is forced to pay for a child which isn't theirs? That's like if a woman bumped into you on the street and could claim civil payments for 18 years.

Do you realize how profoundly stupid that sounds?

[–]Kersallus1 point 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Do you realize how profoundly stupid that sounds?

Oh, absolutely. The state doesn't give a shit though.

They know a mother-child without a stable income is several times more likely to be a menace to society. Its a complete shit sandwich, but they don't care about that. They only care about the blameless child, in some pseudo pro life shit.

[–]Rexguy1201 point 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Seems like the cost should be passed on to society at large and the state, since they seem to be the one's with a vested interest in the life of the random spawn.

[–][deleted] 29 points30 points31 points 5 years ago (47 children) | Copy Link

I thought countries outside USA were much more progressive than this, hence why we in the USA are shit

[–]Yousunkmyredditship1 24 points25 points26 points 5 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I mean, in France it’s actually illegal for a man to paternity test their children without their mother’s consent.

[–]JustAnotherPersonToo 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Thats because infidelity is the core of the French identity.

[–]Yousunkmyredditship1 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I thought that was surrender?

[–]JustAnotherPersonToo 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What vehicle has one drive gear and four reverse?

A french tank.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points14 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Say what?!?! that is super odd.

[–]lestratege 13 points14 points15 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

In France, you have to sue first to either establish or reject paternity.

A woman cannot pull a DNA test to prove you're the father without first a court order, and conversely a man who's legally a father can't do a DNA test to disprove paternity without first a court order.

Since you have 5 years from the birth to do so, if OP's story had happened in France, then the man would have had no problem to be legally recognized as not the father.

But everyone keeps repeating that in France you cannot do paternity tests...

[–]duhhhh 14 points15 points16 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You are both right.

A private paternity test is illegal without the mother's consent. Doing so could mean a year in prison and a 15,000 Euro fine.

A father can get a court ordered test if they can show a good reason to get one. About 1500 fathers a year do.

so you are under the mistaken assumption that progressive= good huh?

[–]ImBuddyUrRetard 36 points37 points38 points 5 years ago (25 children) | Copy Link

People who claim to be progressive tend to actually be regressive. If the world is taken over by these self proclaimed “progressives,” we will go back to the fucking stone ages.

[–]Home--Builder 18 points19 points20 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The road to hell was paved with good intentions. I have come to the conclusion that doogooders as a whole do more damage to society than criminals do as a whole. Stupid easily fooled people just have way too much time on their hands to meddle in everything.

[+]GulchDale -8 points-7 points-6 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

That's a really broad stroke you're painting with. I wouldn't consider making sure everyone has health care to be something that will send us back to the stone ages. Quite the opposite really.

[–]PBR_Sheetz 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

You see, you have it all wrong. The debate isn't "should people have health care, yes or no." The question is "should our tumbling shit-show of a government be in charge of the people's health care?"

opposing universal heath care just means you believe free markets and competition can provide better than a Government program.

[–]Hirudin 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Also, should a political establishment that has shown that it is perfectly ok with denying access to social media to half of the country be in charge of distributing health care services to those same people.

"We swear we won't discriminate based off political affiliation" they say/said.

[–]Iamdanno 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't think the political establishment has cut off internet access. I think private corporations have limited the access of people who does hate speech & plot to overthrow the government. I'm talking about the US, maybe you're talking about china or something, IDK.

[–]reverbiscrap 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It is, however, provable that the free market has not actually provided better quality, and is more concerned with maintaining a stranglehold at the expense of the consumer.

The ACA failed precisely due to medical insurance agencies weakening it, for fear of losing profit margins that are already bloated.

[–]PBR_Sheetz 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

It is, however, provable that the free market has not actually provided better quality

Can you prove that? Because I live in a northern boarder state and our specialist offices are (Pre Covid of course) always packed with Canadians.

Why on earth would they come down to the US if our health care is more expensive and lower quality?

I have been to a hospital up in Canada and it was a horrible experience. So my personal experience is the opposite of what you claim.

[–]reverbiscrap 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What is the wealth status of those Canadians?

Your statement applies to the quality of service you can receive, which is very high, but not to how only the wealthy can take advantage of it without going into crippling debt due to a (purposefully) labrythine system that does not benefit or is balanced by the free market to the end consumer.

In fact, I'd go as far to say that until corporations no longer receive money from the gov't, you have no 'free market', only a business bureaucracy.

[–]Client-Repulsive -5 points-4 points-3 points 5 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

“Any deviation from 1776 America is regressive.”

[–]ImBuddyUrRetard 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

yes, it is.

[–]Client-Repulsive -5 points-4 points-3 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

So you’d be good if the government were allowed to take away all your guns right now? Each to their own.

[–]ImBuddyUrRetard 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago* (11 children) | Copy Link

1776 America wouldn’t take your guns dumbass. I was agreeing with your satirical statement as if it were literal. I do happen to believe that any straying from the path of 1776 America is regressive.

Besides any slavery part. Keep that shit out and keep everything else from 1776 America in.

[–]Iamdanno -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't think you know the meaning of the word any.

[–]Client-Repulsive -3 points-2 points-1 points 5 years ago* (9 children) | Copy Link

If you don’t know history or any details about 1776, can we really say you agree with anything?

After all was said and done, more colonists lost their rights (and freedom) post-constitution than pre-constitution.

And unless you were super rich back then (ie a property owner), that included even if you were “white” and male.

[–]DirtyPartyMan-1 point 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Well said.

[–]hendrixski 15 points16 points17 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

They are.

The progressive stance on child support is that it's calculated based on custody and income difference regardless of gender. Unfortunately it doesn't solve for how a child gets financial support in the case that their mother committed paternity fraud.

[–]SharqPhinFtw 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think it's simple. Femtards keep bringing up the dumb argument of "it takes 2 to make a baby so the 2 are responsible". Perfect. This means the cheated on is free to leave and it is the responsibility of the cheater to find the guy.

Then people are like "but muh gubment only cares about money". And you right. All government offered child assistance (that is given in the stead of a father) can onlu be given if the father cannot provide for the child. If there is no father then we don't know so government gives 0.

Women think this is oppression but it's not even a fraction of the responsibilities men have.

[+]DirtyPartyMan11 points 5 years ago [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

On most points you are correct. However world governments are primarily uniform on this point. Especially the European continent dealing with a high volume of work migration.

As long as the state doesn’t have to support the child they really don’t care.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

that's Super sad. I mean, at the VERY least, I thought when it came to children, the welfare and well being was more important. I'm so sorry men around the world have to deal with this.

[–]matrixislife 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh certainly the child's welfare is top priority.. almost. The state excels at making the child's welfare someone else's responsibility.

[–]Cookiedoughjunkie 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

there are a lot of fucked up things regarding... child care. I mean, sure I don't want children to suffer, but at the same time, you can't just keep not holding responsible parties accountable.

It's strange we don't talk more about not having kids. Somehow in our society it's expected and hell, accidental pregancies? 7 times still is just another oopsie, oh well, get another job to take care of it. Rather than treating it as a serious thing like it actually is.

[–]Ensifror 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Progressive=men, especially white men, get fewer rights

Wait until you learn how a woman can rape a CHILD, get pregnant, then SUE him for child support o.O

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

yeah I heard that one. that is sickening. super sickening.

[–]duhhhh 37 points38 points39 points 5 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Why? Courts do it every day around the globe. Either the government pays for the woman's actions or an innocent man. The government chooses not them.

[–][deleted] 18 points19 points20 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, but that doesn't make it right, just, or fair.

[–]duhhhh 38 points39 points40 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It never has been. Even raped boys can't get out of their financial obligations.

After Hermesmann v Seyer set the precedent, courts around the country have decided that male victims of women owe the perpetrators child support for decades, while other precedents and laws generally allow female victims many options to get rid of the product of their rapes.

Hermesmann successfully argued that a woman is entitled to sue the father of her child for child support even if conception occurred as a result of a criminal act committed by the woman.

E.g.

Alabama man - https://law.justia.com/cases/alabama/court-of-appeals-civil/1996/2950025-0.html

Arizona boy - https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/09/02/statutory-rape-victim-child-support/14953965/

California boy - https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-1996-12-22-9612220045-story.html

Others in this paper "Victims with responsibilities" -https://lawpublications.barry.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1017&context=cflj

There are many others out there. I do not believe there has yet been a single case where a boy or man has gotten out of paying child support to an adult woman that statutory raped, raped, sperm jacked, etc.

The good news is that in recent years feminist lobbiests have pushed for laws to prevent rapists from getting child custody. Without custody the child wouldn't be raised by a rapist and the victim wouldn't owe child support. So the day that a male doesn't owe his perpetrator may be coming soon. The less good news is that just over half the states that passed these laws passed them as the feminist lobbiests proposed them - only preventing rapist fathers from getting custody. (https://www.ncsl.org/research/human-services/parental-rights-and-sexual-assault.aspx)

Terrell v Torres recently set a precedent and invalidated a signed contract to let a woman use embryos created with her ex and have him owe child support. https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/arizona/2019/03/18/arizona-court-ruling-use-preserved-embryos-without-ex-husbands-consent-ruby-torres/3205867002/

In several other cases women who forged her ex's signature to implant have been awarded child support from the unwilling father. E.G. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5687477/Ex-husband-ordered-pay-child-support-former-wife-forged-signature-undergo-IVF.html

Reproductive coersion of men is also an issue that would be drastically reduced with financial abortion.

approximately 10.4% (or an estimated 11.7 million) of men in the United States reported ever having an intimate partner who tried to get pregnant when they did not want to or tried to stop them from using birth control

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reproductive_coercion

What about IVF with sperm taken from a condom without the man's consent?

https://www.mommyish.com/woman-steals-ex-boyfriends-sperm-has-twins-sues-for-child-support-836/

How about when they only engage in oral sex which should have no pregnancy risk?

https://rollingout.com/2014/02/04/woman-uses-sperm-oral-sex-get-pregnant-force-man-pay-child-support/

Financial abortion would solve all the financial issues for victimized males and remove incentives for women to do these things, but many pro-choice folks immediately start making pro-life talking points that if he didn't want a kid he should have used a condom or kept it in his pants.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It is fucked up to make a boy pay for that. While I'm pro-life, I would declare to remove all financial requirements from him if that be the case.

[–]Cookiedoughjunkie 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

you're forgetting one important thing about that law being pushed.

It still doesn't recognize men as being able to be raped by women.

[–]mera1066 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

The women choose to whore around! "The govt" does not make them do it, they choose to do it. You know, their body, their choice.

[–]duhhhh 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Unfortunately once the kid comes out, someone has to pay for it. Kids who grow up in real poverty more often than not end up as unproductive adults.

Then the state should have to pay for it, not innocent men. I would gladly give up 0.01 percent of my wage to help other men deal with paternety fraud if I knew that I would be protected from it as well, and thats about the amount it comes to when you consider how many people live in a country that would chip in. Same as with healthcare or education.

[–]wrekd 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

US payers pay twice. First a portion of our federal taxes are used to fund grants. These grants are given to states with performance incentives for the collection support funds. And those support funds the states collect from support payers? No tax breaks whatsoever and it comes out of your net pay.

[–]excess_inquisitivity 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You just made the case for taxing all men for the inconveniences experienced by some of them. Just assume we ALL share a little guilt, and tax us uniformly.

Idk how you feel about that. See the "Private copying levy" for parallels to DVDs.

But the .01% you hand over certainly wouldn't be used by anyone on government. They so clearly want to aid & protect common men.

[–]ImportantResults 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Government is shortcut to say all men, whose taxpayer money they use.

Don't pay taxes in a country that demeans you.

[–]TigPlaze 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Happens all the time. You could even end up forced to pay to a woman you never had sex with but she wrote your name in the birth certificate.

You must be new here.

[–]mustangfrank 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If you think that is bad, in OK, USA, the state had a default judgement law. If a woman said you were the father of her child, the state sent 3 registered letters to your last know address, 30 days apart. If you did not respond, you were declared the legal father of the child, just like that. It was changed when men who were falsely accused, sued the state and won. The state was losing more money that it was taking in.

This is incentivizing fraud. Disgusting. Dupe a man long enough and you're home free.

[–]elebrin 75 points76 points77 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The child was a little under one year old when I found out.

And he left as soon as he found out. He didn't raise the kid long enough for her to have enough object permanence to remember him, probably. People saying "he's the only father she's ever known" aren't realizing that she never knew the man.

[–]Terror-Error 94 points95 points96 points 5 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

Why can't she find out who the actual father is? The article leaves that nugget of information out.

But yes, this is absolute bullshit. What type of cuckold society would make you pay child support for a child conceived illegitimately during their marriage? She should be paying him for being an adulterous wench.

[–]IronJohnMRA 60 points61 points62 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

She probably doesn't know or doesn't want to admit who it was. My guess is the article is trying to protect a woman by hiding the truth.

[–]hendrixski 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Imagine you had a one night stand. Then years later you get notified that lady was married and because of her divorce now you are going to pay child support. Surprise 😯

There's no easy solution here.

[–]The_Devil_Memnoch 23 points24 points25 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Actually that seems like a rather simple solution...

[–]hendrixski 13 points14 points15 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not in line with the idea of men having abortion rights too. At least financial abortions.

The best and easiest solution is that the person who committed fraud is financially liable for the consequences of their own actions.

[–]Terror-Error 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

If you have a one night stand and find out 9 months later you're a father, then congratulations, you're paying child support. Her being married changes nothing here.

Personally I disagree with surprise child support but men have no say the moment a woman becomes pregnant. The only thing men can do is wrap their dong twice.

[–]hendrixski 10 points11 points12 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yes, everyone should always put a helmet on their soldier before they go into battle. But not twice because that can actually cause both of the condoms to tear. So only one.

Also, this may depend on the state, but as far as I understand, any man who is married to the mother when the child is born is legally the father regardless of genetics. If they divorce any time after birth and before the child turns 18 then they are liable for child support.

[–]SharqPhinFtw 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That's why I triple wrap. Then if both tear they create a mesh for the third one that the sperm has to navigate. Me being a dumbass you can expect the sperm to get stuck deciding whether to turn left or go straight while on the right side of a circle.

[–]hendrixski 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]dingoperson2 78 points79 points80 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

A key part here is:

The child was a little under one year old when I found out. ... “I left her almost immediately ...

So despite having less than a year's relation to someone else's child, many still want to coerce him to pay for that child's living expenses for the next 17 years or more.

As a man, you are treated as a work mule. A man without obligations is almost like an affront to nature.

[–]HomemadeMacAndCheese -2 points-1 points0 points 5 years ago (24 children) | Copy Link

Do you really go around calling women whores when they've done something you don't like? You know there are a lot better insults that won't make people assume you're a misogynist.

[–]woke_is_a_plague 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (23 children) | Copy Link

[–]HomemadeMacAndCheese -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

I didn't see anything in the article about the woman accepting money for sex. So she quite literally is not a whore. Unless you're confused about the definition of words?

And I was speaking in general. I am someone who fights for men's rights as well as women's rights. I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who would call me a feminazi. Can you explain why you think I am one?

[–]woke_is_a_plague 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link

That whore cheated on her husband, and took all his money...pretty whorish right there. That's besides absolutely destroying several lives

Just an absolute piece of shit

As for you, your frequency in fragilemaleredditor, and constant "man bad" comments, are just the tip of your deplorable feminazi ways

You are disgusting. Be better than feminazi scum.

[–]HomemadeMacAndCheese -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

I don't think you understand the word "whore". You could call her a slut or a bitch if you wanted, but not whore. Using words incorrectly makes you look unintelligent.

And I don't think I can find a single "man bad" comment in my history. Care to point one out to me?

[–]woke_is_a_plague1 point 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Maybe you need to update your incredibly archaic vocabulary, and chirping random people on the internet...makes you look quite idiotic and out of touch

Your comment history is filled with mindlessly defending women, and shitting on men...of course, a feminazi can't even comprehend the fact that "fragilemaleredditor" is a sexist hate sub, so there isn't much hope for being able to comprehend anything else really lol

[–]HomemadeMacAndCheese0 points 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I mean, it's really not that hard to look up the definition of a word. "Whore" specifically refers to the exchange of money for sex or sexual actions. If there's no money being exchanged she is quite literally not a whore. You can argue all you want, but you'll still be incorrect, and you'll still look unintelligent for using a word incorrectly.

Also can you point to any specific comment I've made? If not, it seems like you don't really have any evidence for your claim.

[–]woke_is_a_plague1 point 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Hmmm...sounds like dealing with a typical feminazi. Zero logic or comprehension skills

I already let you know you are trying to use a very archaic definition of "whore" instead of how it is used currently. Words and definitions change, evolve, and expand...unlike feminazis

Also incredible how you are either completely oblivious, or just conveniently ignore the comments to the fact that you actively participate in "fragilemaleredditor" which is a blatantly sexist hate sub...and "fragilewhiteredditor" which is a blatantly racist hate sub

Without even starting with your disgusting comment history, you are a racist feminazi...just a human dumpster fire

Stop being a drain on society and a waste of oxygen, racist feminazi trash

[–]HomemadeMacAndCheese0 points 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Well you're clearly being unreasonable so good luck in life! I'm gonna go continue to live my life and push feminism on everyone I encounter, specifically because of this interaction. I'll think of you everytime 😘

[–]HomemadeMacAndCheese0 points 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

[–]woke_is_a_plague2 points 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

The irony here is ridiculous lol

You chirp about me declaring things and it doesn't make them true, "like my president"...except, I don't have a president...so YOUR declaration is completely hypocritical and asinine at best lol

Without even getting into your comments...you are active in "fragilemaleredditor" a sexist hate sub, and "fragilewhiteredditor" a racist hate sub

How could you actively participate, and support the hate in these subs yet claim to not be sexist and racist?

A question you've avoided several times lol

...and again, without even getting into your specific comments lol

[–]HomemadeMacAndCheese0 points 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Those subs are racist or sexist just because you say they are. The content is actually laughing at racist and sexist people.

[–]woke_is_a_plague2 points 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Not at all...they continuously bash men, and white people. They have a reputation for being racist and sexist.

They're not racist and sexist "because I say", they are because they actually and factually are

Typical feminazi trying to put fact as "because I say"...same stupidity you would use if I said the sky is blue

Just try not being a racist feminazi piece of shit for 5 minutes

[–]HomemadeMacAndCheese1 point 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

You seem like a really angry person. I disagree with you that those subreddits are racist/sexist, or known for being racist/sexist. The majority of the users know that we're not making fun of all white people or all men, it's about making fun of the racist white people and sexist men. Is that really so hard to understand? You want to see some racism go check out the comments on r/publicfreakout anytime a black person does something bad. Or check out r/pussypassdenied or r/mgtow for some super sexist content.

the real father wasn’t found

Does this woman have no idea who she slept with nine months prior to her child’s birth? Why is the man punished when the woman can’t keep track of who she spreads her legs for?

[–]IronJohnMRA 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Well because it's easier to punish a man than it is a woman.

[–]tragedyfish 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In truth, its because its easier to get child support from a man than a woman, regardless of who the parents are.

[–]DeeplyDisturbed1 28 points29 points30 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

What that woman did is among the most evil, vile, duplicitous things a human can do to another.

So I ask you this - Which is worse:

A) Taking someone's life in a split second by murdering them B) Taking someone's life away slowly over decades - AND their money, time, care, emotions, attention, and effort.

Most reasonable people would agree that these are both very VERY wrong. But when you compare them, they are not all that different.

If only the courts would treat it as such.

Men's Life Lesson #400: The court systems in most Western countries have nothing to do with justice, fairness, or merit. They are political organizations just like any other. And if you are not one of those in favor, you are screwed. Act accordingly.

[+]real_smoky -18 points-17 points-16 points 5 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

You are oversimplifying and making things seem worse than they are. Generally, the court systems are better than they ever were and most of the time are fair. In some cases, like man vs woman type of cases, they aren't. You can criticize part or parts of the system without demonizing the whole thing.

trying telling those who exacerbate and continue the current cultural narrative that as it brands everything on the planet as a purely patriarchal tyranny built by all men to benefit all men in the unifying and noble work of keeping women down... applaud them as they create laws to punish men and then claim that "patriarchy hurts men too"(see The Tender Years Doctrine for the basis of current legal system)the attack on everything patriarchal is absolutely NOT, I repeat NOT, all about destroying western men and culture... its not 'all' evil, it's just the white cisgendered heteronormative patriarchy that has infected everything on earth and needs to be destroyed that we're tearing down... all heil feminism!

people fail to understand that these laws that make men third class citizens when it comes to child rearing were written by feminists in the 20th century... not "patriarchy hurting men too"... it just makes me think of a girl having hold a mans hand, and slapping him while saying "why are you hitting yourself? lol..."

[–]DeeplyDisturbed1 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well. That sure shuts down my argument. It also pretty much erases the horrific experiences of tens of millions of men and children in the US.

Those stories are all fake.

On philosophical grounds, I don't disagree with you. But reality begs to differ my friend. You are living in a hole if you do not see this by now.

[–]Mister_historious 12 points13 points14 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Obviously the men is right. There is a huge legal injustice going on: When a women claims you are the biological father of her child, you are rightfully held accountable for your deeds if it turns out to be so. However if the father is not the biological father he cannot hold the women accountable for her deeds.

If we decide that we legally enforce fatherhood by someone being the biological father, a father should also be able to denounce fatherhood if it turns out that he is not the biological father.

[–]Arzakhan 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women do this all the time, except when the woman is the maternal parent. They actively go broke to avoid paying, and frequently can get away with it, with the support of feminist communities. Here’s a video from Sydney Watson, a female MRA, who I find to be a little red pilled, but her opinions of gender rights are spot on. https://youtu.be/p3u8FdwnmiU

[–]TigPlaze 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He's not the dad; therefore, he should not have to pay. It's that simple. The ex wife is a CHEATER who created this situation.

[–]KingKookus 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is why paternity testing should be part of the birthing process. Before you sign a legal document (birth certificate) they should dna test the dad. It’s not an large expense and there is literally no reason not to.

Mandatory paternity tests need to become a thing, no doubt about it. The only argument against it is that "paternity tests are expensive", made by people who have nk idea how economy functions - mandatory paternity tests would mean all babies born are tested, meaning millions of tests a year, meaning the cost per test would massively drop because of the higher demand that could be met effortlessly. It would cost next to nothing. And even if it cost a lot, it would be worth it.

It isn't exactly rocket science to figure out their divorce filing date and the age of the child to find out if its YEARS or under 1 year when he likely found out and left. Just beyond sloppy work to try and make it seem like he raised this kid until she was 15 or something.

[–]nacho-chonky 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]apeironman 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I keep trying to come up with a way to deal with situations like these but they all would be counterproductive and draconian in the long run. Unless the mother has the resources to raise the child on her own, then she becomes a burden on the system and everyone in the country has to pay for the child, and that's not fair to everyone else.

The best idea I can come up with is run a paternity test on all children when they are born. They are ~$100 if you do it yourself, although I'm sure a hospital would mark that up tremendously. Frankly, they should make it a civic duty for all men to do, maybe teach them this during sex ed or something. Just spitballing here.

[–]Farrenkorr 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

can you imagine the tsunami of "hurt feelings" and demands to "just trust me" and the shaming tactics... holy hell... it'd be hilarious!!

For me I'm torn on this, because he shouldn't have to pay for a child that isn't his, but at the same time this is what my father did to me (though difference was is that I was his child) so I can't exactly say that what he did was right in the grand scheme of things, bit I can say that for his health and the health of the family, not only leaving the child but to also dodge child support like this, how could you raise a child that you know isn't yours and is from an affair that your wife had while you were still Married, how could you look at that child and not be filled with some sort of anger, and that's not just a male mentality, that is a human mentality, that child will forever be a reminder to him that he wasn't enough for his wife so she went to someone else behind his back, sure it sucks that the child has to go through this but maybe it'll make him a better person and see what type of a shit human being his mother is

“According to the law, if you were married to the child’s mother within 300 days of the child’s birth, the law presumes you to be the father. If you are not in fact the child’s biological father but your wife does not suggest that there is another potential father, she may be deliberately committing paternity fraud.

If you suspect your wife has committed paternity fraud, there are a few actions you may take. You may file a legal form to declare the non-existence of a parent-child relationship between yourself and the child. According to the law, you must initiate this action within two years of learning the relevant facts relating to paternity. For example, if you learn through a DNA test that you are not the child’s father, you must initiate the legal action within two years of receiving the test results. If the court agrees that you are not the child’s father, you may stop being subject to child support requirements and similar legal orders.”
