I fail to see how misogyny is any way systemic or institutional in Western nations where women are a very protected and revered class and are granted all sorts of special privileges, while very real and serious issues affecting men and boys continue to be glossed over and not taken seriously or even outright ignored. An argument can be made for misogyny being systemic in third-world nations but even then men and boys don't have it so great there either, with boys often forced to become child soldiers at a young age against their own will and they're also forced into child marriages. And this hardly gets coverage or attention in the news. I don't doubt misogyny exists but the claims of it being systemic in Western nations is hard to take seriously with how misogyny is constantly condemned and has action taken against it, whereas misandry is treated as a joke and issues affecting men and boys continue to not be given proper attention or have action taken. Women and girls have tons in the means of aid and activism and help for them, men and boys not so much. Claims of misogyny being systemic to me just comes off as more misandrist victimhood and trying to deflect from misandry and upholding the "women most affected" narrative misandrists have embedded in society.
