My experience with the matter is different. Woman tend to have higher standards for their sexual partners while men tend to have lower standards.

There's more than plenty of "ugly" people on both sides let's not claim otherwise.I personally believe that "fat shaming" has enabled "some" women to label themselves as "10's" and what used to be an average rating of "5" for average guys has now become a "3" to them due to their new found beauty. (feel free to argue that)

The claim being made that "women don't want sex" being made in a time where promiscuity is not only common, but glorified and encouraged kind of defuses that bomb.

Are you talking about societal dogma or is that your own opinion? Because if it's your own opinion, you're objectively wrong. The males of all vertebrates are more aesthetic compared to their females, be it lions, silverback gorillas, peacocks (and all birds), all fish, male gaurs, reindeer and humans, for that matter.

Human males are larger, have greater musculature (and have greater detail on their bodies as a result), sharper facial features, have longer eyelashes and greater facial symmetry (table 1). These are all comparisons of averages, obviously.

There's a reason most artwork in ancient civilizations featured fit men (that too fully nude) since the fit male body was seen as a work of art and women put on makeup to match the aesthetics of their male counterparts.

tl;dr Never feel shame for having a high sex drive, wanting to have sex with women or liking sex. Never settle for a women who will withhold intimacy from you unless you have a good reason. Realize that women and men go through phases where they may have less interest in sex but someone who cares about you won't shame you and will find a balance

This is anecdotal but IME women who feel this way tend to either want something from the man but have no interest in him romantically or they want something from the man but have zero to offer beyond the kitty. In those cases it's often easier to shame the guy into not asking for or expecting sex as often as he wants it and settling for what she will give. I long ago reached, through speaking with women, the realization that many women who haven't gone through hormonal changes don't have necessarily low sex drives, they just don't really want it from the men in their lives.

FWIW for every woman who shames a man for being a horndog there are men that will call women whores and other dirty names for liking sex or even for submitting to it. Over my years I've heard guys say some pretty fucked up things.

Story time...I met an older guy when I was in Laos who had recently divorced. He was married for 20+ years and during that time his wife never worked. By the time they were mid 40s the kids were out of the house and she still wasn't working. According to him they generally had sex every other month or so because she wasn't interested. When he turned 50 they got divorced and he moved to Thailand. His wife who for over a decade barely had sex with him because she wasn't interested started dating pretty soon after the divorce. Turns out she didn't hate sex or lose her drive, she just didn't like him but thought he'd never leave and didn't want to have to make it on her own. She dated around for a couple of years and then married again. Her time dating apparently included some one night stands as well as a trip to a place where women tend to spend time with younger men.

Personally I find myself that if my husband straight out asks me for sex while I'm doing something I will say no. I find that it he starts kissing me gives me a cuddle from behind kisses my neck etc I am more likely to get in the mood. I don't recommend doing this unless you are in a relationship with the person. I find nothing wrong with men being horny etc it just depends how you go about it. I don't think anyone wants to bang a person that's desperate and constantly asking for it.

I think because women take care of themselves, that's why sometimes we look more attractive. Women wax eyebrows, wear make up and do their hair every morning, put on perfume that smells nice etc. I think my only advice to guys that want to be more appealing is to shower and wear deodorant, get a nice hair cut that suits you and wear nice aftershave. I think most women like a nice aftershave for me its the equivalent of seeing a good looking womans nudes it's and instant lady boner.

I personally look like a 4 maybe 5 when I'm at home and don't look after myself but when I wear a bit of make up do my hair etc I look like 7 maybe an 8 if I'm lucky 😆. I am confident in how i look sure theres maybe things I'd like to change if i could but I'm happy. My point is look after yourselves physically and mentally. I was rejected a couple times and I didn't take it as a hit to how I look I just moved on. I understand that I might not be someone's type and I don't expect men and women to be falling head over heels for me...as nice as that would be 😂

I have a higher drive than my husband and I often initiate. I don't mind if he says no, we'll just snuggle instead (though he's for it probably 19 times out of 20). I think it's important for men to feel safe to express bodily autonomy. I'm having a son soon, and I really worry about protecting him from some of the things y'all go through. My husband is not conventionally attractive, but I am attracted to him. He makes a middle class income for our area, so he's not rich, either. But we became close because we are respectful and kind with each other. I wish there were more of this going on out there.

My son is only 14 but a Chad. He is the "bad boy" and is currently dating a junior in highschool. Its pretty fun to watch things play out with the couple girlfriends that he has had. I give him a ton of advice on the games girls play now that I know how they think.

Recently the girl he was dating ( not the junior) started playing games with him. Talking to other guys and said she wanted to break up. I said no matter how much you want to yell at her remain calm and just say "ok" and nothing else. This will annoy the hell out of her because girls want a emotional response from you. Then start talking to another girl immediately. He did everything I said and within a few days the ex found out ( from her mom) he was talking to another girl. She pretty much begged him to take her back. Girls fall in line when they know you have options.
