I watched it, it had funny moments. But there was so much female self-victimisation and self pity. It actually highlights that men probably have it harder but it gets ignored and brushed aside. I liked kens song but it gets played off as a joke. It says in the movie that everyone hates women but no. Everyone hates men, the women don’t care about men and the men are constantly competing and tearing each other down

It is probably one of the most simple-minded, idiotic, chauvinistic and poisonous piece of misandry that's been released in the last decade. If you tried to make a movie like this with the genders reversed, it would be labelled as a misogynistic incel movie and would have never even made it past the script stage. It's feminist propaganda, rivalling any other religious dogma films of it's kind. It's presenting a fantasy as reality, while simultaneously being incredibly tone-deaf towards men's experiences, social issues or suffering.

“She’s everything”. Yet Margot Robbie is 33. I assume Barbie is unmarried and childless in this movie. That would put her in the baby rabies danger zone. If she was everything she’d be 22-25 when women are at their peak attractiveness. This source says 22-23 [edit: or be 33 but be the “you can do it all” and have a husband, career, and family]

Just from this poster alone you can see it’s trying to appeal to women who like to dunk on men and no man is ever going to be good enough and there’s no need to ask what men are looking for in women because they better just get in line.

I was actually excited for this movie. Because they marketed it as a fun, happy go-lucky, colorful adventure film. But what I'm hearing from the reviews has disappointed me. They're saying it's very on the nose with its feminist message and at times it's preachy. I thought this movie was going to have a cheeky light-hearted approach to gender issues . I thought it was going to be a fun film but nope these misandrist always have to take the low hanging fruit. And I don't think it's a coincidence that they left all of the feminist diatribes out of the marketing because they knew if they kept it in there they would lose ticket buyers so they baited everyone. I feel baited. Call me naiive.

I believe it showed an issue that females might have gone through years ago. But in today's time it shows how detached they are.

Men and women have pros and cons. This movie was targeting showing off women's pros and highlighting men's cons.

Call me privileged but the issues women were going through in this movie is not obvious where I am from. Maybe it is true for the director or the staff. This is not to say it doesn't happen. But I am tired of being tied to the 1% of men that rightfully should be publicly shamed, just because I also have a penis.

It’s just another film using a popular IP to reel people in and then bash them over the head with feminist propaganda. It reeks of misandry and in the first 10 minutes attacks the idea of motherhood. I actually had planned to go see it, dress up in pink and everything for fun, cause I thought it was going to be just that; a fun movie… but no, my fiancé went and saw it with her mom, and came back telling me all about the radical feminist agenda it was pushing; and the fact that her mom, who is a modern day feminist, also found the film to be “too political” says a lot. 2/10, not quite a 0/10 since it did still have some funny moments apparently.
