I'm not a fan of tribalism (let alone a fan of celebrities), so I do not consider myself on "Team" anything. However: I have watched large parts of the trial so far, and from what I have witnessed, my opinion is the following:

I have newfound respect for Mr Depp, and wish him all the best, including him winning the suit and restoring his reputation - not just for his sake, but also that of his kids. That is, unless the Defendant's side can bring earth-shattering new evidence. I do not think that likely, but as we say here, the devil is a squirrel.
From what the public has been informed about of Ms Heard, I hope she gets professional help, and that her conduct serves as as a reminder to the public that just because a well-dressed lady claims something does not make it true. Oh, and I hope that some big entities also re-examine their standards. Having a self-confessed domestic abuser as Ambassador for women's rights (with focus on gender-based violence no less!) is hopefully not the look you want to project.

This case needs to be tied to family court and the fact men/fathers always have to defend against false accusations by spouses just like Amber Heard. The system is tailor made for the personality of abusers like her to take advantage of the fact it is biased towards men and it actually financially incentivizes them to lie and this causes children to become visitors to their fathers and extract as much wealth as possible from future generations while forcing men into indentured servitude.

When talking about this case I always talk about it in relation to family court.

I haven't watched this trial, so everything I have to go on is clips and here say. That being said, from what I can tell Heard is a crazy bitch. If I were to pick a side it'd be Depp because no one should have negative repercussions on their career without evidence or conviction of a crime. I'm mainly against cancel culture and females destroying men's lives with their words and allegations.

I doubt Depp is completely innocent either. I doubt he's done physical violence against Heard, but isn't he also a drug addict? That's some brain fuckery that can cause illogical responses to things and if people get emotional they may perform regrettable actions.

Sensationalizing this case is a joke tbh. What happens between those two, in that case, has absolutely no meaning or bearing on anything. I have not watched a minute of anything involved in it. Because it doesn’t matter. I heard amber heard cut Johnny depps finger off. I heard Johnny depp is an abuser and a drunk.

Just because amber heard cut off Johnny depps finger doesn’t mean women are abusers of men.

Just because Johnny depp is a drunk that abused amber heard doesn’t mean men are drunks who abuse women.

So why would this case matter, at all? It’s between two people. Perhaps you could argue this is can lead to talking about a larger issue in society, but I don’t think we have any epidemic issues involving anything that can come from the case.

So in summary: noones side. I don’t care. If Johnny depp were really innocent then yes he would probably feel good if everyone were on his side. But as far as “do we have an epidemic of women who abuse their husbands” the answer is no, in my opinion. It may become an issue in the future if feminism continues going off the rails, but as of now I don’t believe it’s the case.
