My own view is that types of girls that show up on reddit in general and in particular discussion forums are not the same girls that either TRP are shooting for or that Chad is hitting on, I am guessing that many of you are the nerdettes, the booky types, possibly the gamer grrls, etc...not the ones hitting the frat parties, clubs, etc.

Most of us carry the biases of the world we live in and the perception that everybody is like the people we see around us everyday. I live a bubble made of mostly of people in the top 10% of income with most of my immediate friends in the top 1%. They are all very educated, generally healthy and even those that are "conservative" fiscally are generally socially liberal.

I am also aware, there are a lot of people out there who just don't interact in IRL (except if I have to go the DL office or the like) that see a different world than I do. I think the BP women here and the RP guys are often seeing those 2 different worlds.

'Chad' does not denote the stereotypical asshole douchebro.

It's nothing more than a placeholder term for "guy who is more attractive than you". Nothing more, nothing less. If your woman cheated, she cheated with Chad. If you were second choice, Chad was first choice. If you're not the best she's ever had, Chad was.

He's an archetype, a thought experiment to help newbies understand hypergamy.

I think you misunderstand who Chad is, he is just a guy who gets almost any woman he wants. I think Chad is stereotyped as a "douchebro" like you are describing because TRP posters seem to represent the suburban areas where this stereotype exists.

There are Jock Chads, Hipster Chads, and all types of Chads.

A chad can be an attractive man in a 3 piece suit drinking whiskey or covered in tattoos on a harley, different girls have different tastes

Chad isn't some generic cocky jock, the only thing all chads will have in common is confidence, good looks and a domineering personality

He's a really cool, funny guy actually, once you get to know him. But there are so many other girls stalking his ass that sometimes he doesn't know what to do with all the numbers he's collected. He's also obscenely laid back about the attention, it makes him seem a little aloof and indifferent at times or not always call you, but he'll guarantee you have a good time with him that day and every day you meet him.

Many other women find these types of men strong, confident, exciting, socially dominant and physically attractive. In other words, they have very high SMV, which by definition means a lot of women want to have sex with them.

Most women are not like the OP, and the few women who are like this have low SMV and will take what they can. Which is to say they can't attract chads even for casual sex.

The majority of the women with normal to high SMV are either sleeping with chad casually in ONS, are in FWBs with chad, or are Alpha widows: they've had chad and now can't be satisfied with any other man.

Like I said, the only women who don't want chad are women who can't compete with other women with chad. Going for Asians, huh? Your smv is that low?

The reason why you like low SMV men is probably because you are a low SMV woman, so you cast a wider net in order to attract a mate. If a physically attractive man, 6ft tall, with a chiseled jawline and toned body, chatted you up without being vapid, pretentious or arrogant, you'd pick him instead of the short, lanky, bookish looking Asian who does exactly the same thing.
