There are very practical problems with therapy for men:

1) It's not free at point of consumption.

2) Only work-related therapy appears to be insurable. Women don't understand this detail. I doubt that attachment therapy, in particular, is insurable.

It's pointless going to therapy in your 30s. Even if you're earning six figures, you still have a spending fork in the road between therapy and socializing, because socializing events aren't free, either.

It's pointless going to therapy in your early 40s for the same reason.

Therapy isn't affordable for the whole upper 10%. Maybe it's affordable virtue-signalling for the upper 5%.

If more and more women outearn men and insist on men going to therapy because they don't like so-called "toxic masculinity," then perhaps make women pay for free therapy for men.

(This would be like the original systemic racism of Social Security. Systemic sexism for free therapy may be needed.)

You know what's fucked up. I've been snacking like a disgusting pig these last few days, going over my calorie limit by at least 300. And today i weighed myself and I somehow weighed less than when I was trying to restrict. I just want my suffering to end, I feel like the scale is fucking with me.

Maybe the moderators will respond to my request for help. I have attempted to post a debate five times. And it keeps getting removed by the automatic reddit censoring and I have no clue why. It is completely academic. Here is what it gets down to: Work should be as safe, legal, normal, and as non-exploitative as possible. The type of work I'm referring to is sex. And I have tried every way of beating around the bush in the post, but it keeps getting censored and removed automatically, I'm certain not from humans looking at it because this is just bizarre. What do y'all think? Can I get this debate thread posted eventually?

Question For Women: When you imagine/suppose that a man is "good at sex," what do you imagine that means?

Does anyone remember that one episode of Seinfeld where Jerry dates Katya the Romanian gymnast? And he and Kramer and probably George all infer that sex with her would be especially pleasurable/exciting? Why do they presume this? What do they think being a gymnast affords you sexually? It doesn't make a lot of sense, and that's the joke. It's just seeing a woman being flexible and flipping around and straddling things and spreading her legs puts sexual ideas in some people's heads. Kramer cites tantric yoga and the Kama Sutra as evidence of the "gymnasts are good at sex" concept he's trying to prove. Anyway, the final joke of the episode reveals that Katya was expecting similar from Jerry. And the relationship ends, both of them disenchanted by reality not living up to preconception.

That last joke got me thinking, is there really a male equivalent to "The Gymnast?" For Jerry, "good at sex" meant "flexible, good at balancing herself with things between her legs." Things a gymnast is good at.

I'm not asking you what a man who is good at sex looks like, I'm asking what you imagine he'd be good at. Like how Jerry imagines a gymnast would/should be good at sex because she's flexible and can balance herself while grinding a balance beam between her legs.

Some trivia: If you've seen this episode, you might've thought "There really was a 1984 Olympics, so was there really a Romanian female gymnast who took Silver and did Balance Beam? Because she would be the 'real life equivalent' of Katya." Turns out yes.

Ecaterina Szabo took silver in "Women's Artistic Individual All-Around," which includes Balance Beam. She was the most decorated athlete at the 1984 Games. And know what else? Her birth name is Katalin. That's kinda like Katya, right?
