Biases

Theres a lot I dont understand about people. It's become increasingly clear to me that most people dont try to understand people they dont agree with. They purposely look for the worst in an opposing group to confirm their own biases. Here's my understanding of a few groups.

MGTOW people typically dont feel valued by society, and women in particular. A lot of them have had toxic relationships that destroyed their sense of purpose. They dont like how much control women have over the family unit. They dont like how women can destroy their reputation, and social standing. They hate that being a husband and a father doesn't have as much respect as it used to. Of course some of them have some views that are barbaric, like women shouldn't be able to vote, and they shouldn't be in the workplace but as far as I know those are stupid ideas, and there doesn't seem to be any real science behind it.

The SJW/Woke type want suppressed groups to have a voice. Nowadays that's gotten out of hand, because theres a hierarchy based on identity. They tend to vilify anything to do with gender roles. They dont believe In Binary gender. That's why they take issue with traditional masculinity and femininity. Lately it seems like they've attacked masculinity pretty heavily, because anything masculine is patriarchal, and the patriarchy is their enemy. I dont agree with their ideas about gender, but I can separate myself enough to understand some of their arguments. I think they come from a place of emotion rather than logic, but that's understandable as humans are emotional creatures.

Incels get a really bad rep. They come from a dark place. They feel like they got fucked by the universe, and they have no place in society. They crave a normie life, but feel they will never be good enough, because of some trait, to have it. Some of them lash out with anger. Generally they have a toxic mentality. They believe nothing will ever get better for them and blame it on a trait. I.e they're to ugly, to short, genetically inferior, poor, etc. They're a sad group of people who just want to curl up in a ball and cry. They want someone to validate their experience so they know that they're not the only ones suffering the way they have. I'm not entirely sure why they get as much hate as they do. I think pity makes more sense than hate. Lately there seems to be a gender divide. A lot of incel groups have been banned, but the female equivalent hasn't. A lot of incels use this to reaffirm themselves that society sees them as the punching bag of the world. That they should shut up and accept their lot in life. They're worthless and aren't even allowed to complain about it. Incel subs tend to be really deppressing.

Red pill types tend to think that since the sexual liberation movement, investing in women has become a bad deal for men. They think that as women get more rights, they take from men. They believe that men's value has only decreased since the sexual liberation. They want people to stop putting women on pedestals. They want women to be held responsible to the same extent as men. They value traditional masculinity and femininity, but they realize that society has changed in an irreparable way. They want other men to realize this and not be taken in by a woman simply because they have a vagina. They seem to have become increasingly more cynical against women. A lot of them seem to have thoughts that the average woman has the mentality of a spoiled child. They should be used to relieve physical needs, but odds are a woman only wants you for your resources.

The Female Dating Strategy types think of relationships in very pragmatic ways. They want a specific thing from a man, and they want to get it at the best possible 'price'. A lot of men have a problem with this because they feel the women here are hypocrites. The women here typically see men as a means to an end. Again they're extremely pragmatic. When a man feels this way about women its seen in a negative light.

Black pill types hate existing. They've accepted that they're a cog in an uncaring system. They've prepared to live a life of solitude, that'll probably end with suicide. They dont complain. They're completely jaded, indifferent. Dead inside. Black pill subs can be kinda scary. I personally think they're full of nihilist who've died whilst still being alive.

I dont understand why theres always someone attacking another group.

It's always: see this post this group is sexist. See this, that's why women shouldn't xyz. Oh look at that, this guy said this; they should be banned. Look at this lady, she only gets what she wants because she's beautiful.

Why cant there be civil discussion? Just because you disagree with a group doesnt make them evil. The vast majority of people are a shade of gray. If you ignore, or challenge toxic behavior wouldn't that lead to progress instead of hate? Stupid ideas would be exposed. And you'd probably learn some empathy if you realized how other groups experience the world. Everyone has a chip on their shoulder and isnt willing to even listen/entertain a group or idea that doesnt align with their own. If they do engage with another group it's for a backhanded reason. Am I being naive?
