RPS went on a rampage cleaning it up a few months ago, i think its actually gotten better. its not the posts i find to be bad but the commenters. they could do well to lose the "blue pill example" and "rant/vent" parts, thats where the moralizing tracons, mgtows MRAs and loser incels tend to come out

It's overrun with kids who aren't of drinking age yammering about how they "overcome my high school beta self" and otherwise useless FRs about "how I banged a Tinder feminist" or other nonsense.

Sorting by top posts yields the most useful information; day to day it's just a teenage and college kid echo chamber that frankly deserves the ridicule it gets.

I would say a little. 2+ years ago when I started reading we had many different topics and strategies being discussed. These days every other thread is about go lift, or some humble brag field report. Don't get me wrong we still get good threads but they are not as common anymore.

Yes. I just visited today and one of the first posts I saw was recommending snooping in your plates phone once a month. Another +500 post was basically an account of how some dude rejected a girl

When I first found TRP in 2015 it had insights, funny memorable ragebait posts like single mothers are scum, black knighting (which was the prototype for Trump supporters trolling the shit out of liberals on the way to victory a year later). Plenty of fake field reports and spergs claiming to have gone from nothing to owning a business in a year by holding frame and passing corporate shit tests. But there was still quality. It's gone now. All the original thought is gone, TRP is old news

Yes. I mean it was never great, but when I remember there used to be at least a few gems worth reading over there. I used to go to r/theredpill for advice on fitness, diet dressing and grooming, and perspectives on red pill psychology. You used to find at least a handful of those on the front page every day. They were fairly in depth and helpful as well, written by people that seemed to know what they were talking about.

I mean, it's possible I'm just remember the good stuff, and forgetting the bad, but at least there was good stuff to remember!

Now there is just way too much fluff. Field reports that don't seem to have a point, blue pill examples that are really stretching. The advice posts are few, and the ones that are around are just so poorly written. Like the person that wrote them just discovered lifting and frame last week. Walls of text that don't say anything substantial.

r/theredpill should be more like this place. Actual discussion about TRP and its concepts. Not just a place to bitch about women, and brag about getting laid.

Lots of obvious fan fiction, paranoia, peppered with actual good advice. So much justification for shit actions just because “women are doing it too.”

GLO posted the other day about rage baiting and used birth control as an extermination attempt against African Americans as a good one sample to stir things up. Then he came her and did just that in an hour xchange with SlimLovin I think. So, yes, it’s worse.

I stopped frequenting the sub because I no longer have any use for it. Once you know the basics you don’t need to check it constantly. I think this happens with most people who are on the sub. They churn out people quick and a few stay on as EC.

TRP was always a bathtub of diarrhea with some diamonds in it. The diamonds are sill there but the bathtub is bigger and the diarrhea has C. Diff .

I used to recommend TRP to people with a high tolerance for offensiveness . Now I don’t recommend it but still agree with the core ideas

Has r/TRP changed since you first found it?

Probably not.
RP points are well settled now, I don't need much evidence to support them anymore. I've made my own observations to correct for the alarmism the community and the narratives are bound to cause and the bits that are about US above anything else. As far as unplugging and analyzing goes, I've done my fair share and askTRP is the place for most of that. I do feel I owe the community some research and information if I happen to spot something new, but at this time I'm skeptical about beating the fully dedicated fellows on it.
RP is not the best source for learning game, fitness or about diets, although I trust them, as a community, to be less biased about a particular approach to those subjects. As far as those stretch, I'm past theory and have done my fair share too.

RP has very important information but at some point marginal gains are too slim. My experience with feminist writers wasn't any different. My experience here won't be any different.
