I don't mean getting pumped and dumped or a short lived thing that doesn't work out but a committed exclusive relationship with somebody you were really into that you thought was going somewhere and then you got dumped for something minor that you would have been willing to work through.

Of course anyone is free to leave a relationship at any time for any reason or no reason at all. But for the sake of argument let's say that "major" issues would be abuse, violence, substance abuse, criminal activity, mental health issues, major lies or omissions, cheating, etc. And minor issues would be all of the little things that build up to the "just not feeling it anymore" or "the spark is gone" types of situations.

I think this might be another area where men and women have very different experiences. When women describe their worst relationship experiences where things fell apart they often talk about things like abuse and cheating. But many men have stories about a partner losing attraction after he showed vulnerability, lost frame, showed weakness, got temporarily depressed, etc. And women admit to dumping guys for things like chewing wrong or not laughing at her favorite movie.

What are some of your worst experiences being dumped?
