No, this isn't correlated with attractiveness. Most men want serious, committed relationships, but most men are also open to having casual sex. You can find survey data that shows this. iirc, more attractive men are more likely to be in relationships.

In my experience, no. Good-looking men tend to have a hoe phase in their early 20s and then want to settle down since they've experienced everything they wanted to already. In my life, it's usually the guys with low self-esteem who feel as though they missed out, who are always keeping their options open and cheating the most.

People who cheat, the VAST majority of the time do it because of who they are and what is going on inside them, not because of you or how utterly amazing the other person is. If you are worried about being cheated on try to avoid people who need lots of external validation or are overly sensitive to negative experiences.

I personally prefer stable long term relationships but here's my options... I can get lots of women. I've dated surgeons, ceos, bankers, but also strippers, legit pornstars, and just hot wild women. I've dated 18 year Olds from church inexperienced, home makers, basically any kind of woman I want to date I have gotten a shot or two or 10 at.

The issue is quality. ALL the women for the most part, even the more goody two shoes ones have way too high body counts. Many have other serious issues stemming from surgeon who worked too much to porn stars that fuck other men for work. So I mean they ALL are essentially low quality in one way or another. They are all fun in one way or another but imo undateable so no way Jose am I knocking one up or getting married.

As a 37 year old man trying all the women out, I've come to the conclusion the only thing a woman really has to offer that would put her at the top of the list is her virginity. I don't really see anything else that she could reasonably do to stand out from the crowd. Then don't even get me started on cooking cleaning and good mother qualities.

But I don't even meet women that are this type. And every other type (not necessarily every woman but ever type) is available to me. I can date who I want easily so why would I go wow for some average girl when I can have all the girls? Makes no sense.

So all boils down to quality issue. My opinion on the quality of the general pop of women is very poor.

But for the rest of hot dudes it’s probably 50/50. 50% want no commitment only casual sex whilst the other wants monogamy. But don’t be fooled he won’t deal with the bullshit of his partner if she ever tries to do something that goes against his wants and needs. He’ll break up and find another woman (since they can do that easily)

For most Sub7 men that are monogamous, it’s usually a coping mechanism. It’s that they reinforce it that they WANT monogamy, not that they don’t have any other choice if they want love and lacklustre sex.

On average men want more quantity so on average a guy with options is going to seek out those options until he can’t or some other reason. In my case I got bored and preferred the more permanent benefits of a LTR.

I’m sure I could keep fucking girls until I’m like MAYBE 40 and that’s stretch. Most likely my partners would be 35-40 and divorced, single moms, with a sparse occasional girl who’s just into older guys. The cost/benefit of doing this at that age wasn’t appealing to me when I compare that to the girl I have now.

I honestly think it's up to the individual. Not all "hot" people fill a mold. Some may value more options. Some may want one partner and are trying to find that connection.

Increased options generally relates to increased difficulty in choosing an option in many domains. There’s research to back the idea that self-perceived attractiveness and/or having many options influences willingness to commit. This may relate to why average-height guys are the most successful reproductively compared to men of other heights when controlling by education and income. By “successful reproductively” they mean having children. Average-height guys are willing to commit, get married, and have children earlier in life which contributes to the success.

Suppose that there was zero correlation between attractiveness and willingness to commit. Attractive people are still more likely to get more attention, and it should go without saying that someone more likely to commit is more likely to commit. In other words, attractive people less willing to commit are more likely to remain active in the single population like on dating apps and get a lot of attention. So, even with all things equal, women would STILL be more likely to encounter single men unwilling to commit when filtering excessively by attractiveness.

While it's not a perfect comparison remember that one chart where most men rated most women on a bell curve. In a world where cute and reasonably attractive women represent like half the female population being physically discerning isn't really going to get you less quality.

I've known a few former and would be fuckboys who've settled down, but it's usually a woman they already had a long term platonic relationship with or some kind of social link to before they started sleeping around or else someone who really clicks with them on that serious one in a million level.

But in the absence of your soulmate provided everything is safe and consensual why wouldn't you still be having sex? The whole dynamic means that you're statistically going to have a decent time with someone you're attracted to and who knows, maybe something will happen with one of them.

No. Males of other species, sure. Human men want monogamy. It's one of the most natural desires in the world. The fact we even have birth control and you don't want kids with all these women shows your desire it not natural/biological, but something you just made up in your head. Perhaps you're entitled, bored, or lonely if you want a lot of partners. But it has nothing to do with biology.

You’re more normal desirable guy scenario is to play the field for a bit, then will settle down for a very quality successful attractive woman, or hot young arm candy.

Any guy with lots of options is generally going after the most attractive and fun combo girl that he currently has available to go out with.

Almost every man has desires for both a variety of sexual experiences with many women and for a deeper, long-term relationship with a special woman. When men are very attractive and can get whatever they want they usually have a lot of casual sex and/or short-term relationships until sometime in their 30s and then try to settle down. I believe this would be the preference of most men, though obviously some prefer strictly monogamy or being a swinging bachelor for their entire lives.

I got attractive later in life so casual sex was not available to me early on, so I didn't get to map my life out like this. I want to explore more sexually so I'll be settling down (again) later in life than I'd like.

Yes, there is some truth to this. I don't think they're settling for monogamy, necessarily. They're just settling for it earlier than they'd prefer. So there's this feeling that they missed out on experiences that were available to other men. I couldn't help but feel this way.

This is anecdotal, but no. Most of the high calibre men I know, usually ‘play the field’ when younger. Until a woman that knocks their socks off comes along. That’s been the pattern for almost all of those types of men. I’ve also noticed that those men too, don’t mind divorce. 75% of men in my tax bracket and above, are on their second marriage, or more.
