Is the Oscar Pistorius case (where a guy kills his girlfriend, says he mistook her for an intruder, gets five years, released to house arrest after one) an example of how fair or unfair society is to men? Or is it an outlier case that does not say much about how society treats men (and possibly more about how paranoid South Africans are about home invasion and how Pistorious maybe took advantage of that to create a cover story for his crime, if he is indeed guilty)?
