We all know there are some bad drivers out there. It's up for debate what percentage of drivers are bad, and some people will claim almost all drivers are bad, but whatever the number it's safe to say that it's a high enough percentage that running into one (or having one run into you) is not uncommon. And it really just takes one bad driver to create a serious headache for you.

Knowing that, do you drive defensively? That's a reasonable precaution many people take against all drivers, even though it may be true that only some drivers are bad. Do you feel comfortable generalizing all drivers in your life as carrying at least a reasonable risk of being bad?

In other words, would you agree that it's sensible to act as if All Drivers Are Like That?

EDIT: Acting as if All Drivers Are Like That is the same as acting as if All Women Are Like That. If you have a problem with one, why don't you have a problem with the other?
