There's too many variables. Some women go for B with full knowledge that they're taking advantage of him, some recognise that going for A men for years has been a failed endeavour and try out a B with genuine hope that B will make her happier than A men did and not leave her.

I'd say the truly hopeful ones would be more upset by being dumped, because what's left for them if they can't keep a B either? Because the ones doing it knowingly are essentially trying to pull a confidence scam, getting caught just means trying to find a bigger sucker for the next attempt.
