If you are in Miami, you will observe male / female social dynamics that are extremely divergent from each other.

If you are in DC you will observe a much higher % of Men and Women engaging in different kinds of far less polarized divergent behavior.

People are shocked by seeing others with insane takes like say a Man with the take that “70%ish of same SMV Women will not go on a 2nd date if you don’t split the bill.”

Men & Women in some areas will be genuinely shocked by this kind of take, because it isn’t true in their environment. They will rightly feel that this is one bad experience and only a small 20%ish of people draw hard lines on things like this.

If you are Australian, European, Canadian, seeing these societal takes are even more bizarre, because it gets so much further from lived experience.

On the opposite side, things like Women feeling they are only marriage material for equal SMV men on purely attractiveness, is alien to some environments, but highly normalized in others.

Income and education status also heavily divide these norms even in the same cities.

This isn’t saying that analysis is useless, but that we should all heavily caveat certain perspectives based off of our environment. Not even for better or worse, but for different sets of expressed norms altogether.
