Hypothesis goes like this :

- Men will not go with women who have a high N-count because it would the same as buying a used product

- Women will rather go with a man who has a high N-count because it would be the same as buying a well-reviewed product

Obviously the reasons are first and foremost evolutionary. Choosing your partner well vs making sure the kid is actually yours ; One pregnancy of 9 months vs mass spread yadda yadda.
However I'm more interested about what words are thought in someone's head when they make that "choice". The "choice" of caring positively or negatively about N-count. Now hold on for 3 seconds-
It IS clear that most of the choices we make are dictated by biology, HOWEVER we as humans will always find ways to rationalize those actions in order to make ourselves think it was our own "free will".
Surely, when "choosing" in what way to think of people who have a high N-count, rationalizations must have been made too.
I am interested in the "free will" explanation, the rationalization. Even when not true, just to know what goes on in someone's head.
